PS2 VF pics (I swear it's not a prank).

Using leet insider resources who are better unnamed, I've got a small handful of PS2 vf4 pics. It's slightly disappointing, things look washed out and jaggy and some of the polys look less complex. Still, we have yet to see gameplay and if gameplay is good, I'll be happy.

Almaci, you have got to be the most retarded little cracksmoking degenerate I've ever seen.

1. These PS2 pics are nowhere on Sega's AM2 site. Feel free to find them and prove me wrong, jackass. While the stage still shots look pretty nice for PS2 version, I'm told they are. The other pics clearly are for PS2. Well, I say clearly, but I'm talking to people with intelligence here. You might miss the little things like the timer in the Pai vs. Wolf picture.

2. There's a reason that I don't mention the other directories on my site. Do you think I give a shit if people know that I'm into porn or anime or anything else? I could give a flying fuck about it, I specifically went out of my way to allow access to many directories. I left most of these folders open to the public to be a nice guy, and Myke and I had worked out an agreement that I wouldn't mention them on the board. That way people looking for VF info can get it, and people who look around can grab anything else they find interesting. Other people figured out this unspoken agreement and respected it. Of course dorky, awkward little Almaci has to fuck it up. You're looking for attention and want to show me up, so you spam the board with another timewaster in an effort to make me look stupid when I'm simply going out of my way to provide a service for intelligent VF players.
Because you had to be a cute little asshole, I'll probably end up with too much traffic on my FTP server and will have to remove access to anything except the VF stuff. Needless to say your IP is banned. Well done, you addled piece of shit.

Umm the pics ARE on AM2s website in a nin public location so I assumed that that was where you got them from .
And I never once claimed they werent from the PS2 rev as I KNOW they are PS2 pics .

yah, sorry about that, some random N2 pics got mixed in with the rest. The only really relevant pics are snp002, snp012, snp018, and snp035. Those are in-game PS2 pics. The rest are prerenders and N2 stuff.

They are indeed PS2 pics.
There are some notable differences in the background detail between the arcade version and those shots.
I didn't expect PS2 to be able to convert Naomi 2 anyway.

On second thought, before you answer, go here - I reorganized and put the stuff I was sure was PS2 in this folder:

... nothing in the arcade folder should be PS2.
The stage pix, especially now that I've gotten them from the original source and converted them into max quality jpgs, are clearly meant for promotional CG (VF3 has the same). If they get used for anything in the PS2 port, they will be scaled down and used as backgrounds to a game menu. They're at 2000x1500 resolution.

There are bound to be some screwups here, it's a 17 meg zip (yet only 28 pics. That should give you an idea of how big and purty each picture is) ...

I didn't get any pics from your FTP, I have a Insider account, so got it from there. They were all taken from a PS2 supposedly

err, actually, what are you trying to say? That the nice stage CGI's are PS2? No.
I bet IGN got this stuff from the same source I did, and that source had bunched together the stage CG's with the actual PS2 pix, and it was all in one area titled PS2 VF4. But the stages pretty obvious PC renders.

I like to think those boyz dun play VF4 at all...prolly thought lion stage was a brand new stage or something..

hey, that was a good link... thanks. Grabbed a few extra pictures and stuck them into the ps2 pix dir. and added them to the zips.
Too bad magic box didn't have anything new, and now the picture links are all dead. Maybe they're doing some reorganizing. OR maybe they said "hmm, those big stage CG's maybe don't go here".

I dunno about the new stage or character. The stage may be original... as for the character, I'm guessing

B. A goofy pallette swap of an existing character, maybe with a VF.net item attached, and maybe with a few extra moves thrown in .... or

These are only intros, and the same ones we've seen before, so it was sort of a letdown. They're also done in teeny-weeny-vision ... hard to tell what kind of quality conversion we're seeing.
Still, it looks smooth. As long as gameplay is intact <--- new mantra.

And for those who didnt know, Kage's, the "Float body knee you kick" to "Wind blade reverse side hydraulic turbine" is knee,d+P+K,K (i was confused myself at first).
