Quest Mode - need help

hi,

i have a few qs concerning the ps3 quest mode:

-how does the ranking system work? from which opps do i get the most xp?
-fastest way to earn money? winning toptier tourneys?
-are tourneys and price matches (emblems, orbs, money etc.) randomly triggered or is there a pattern?
-what does the star next to the char title mean on the arcade selection screen?

 

From 10th Kyu to 1st Dan, you get experience regardless of level of opponent. 1st Dan to the Conqueror is different. Fighting opponents in the range of 2 levels below and 2 levels above will give you experience (for instance, a 6th Dan can fight a 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th Dan and get experience). Generally, if you fight same level opponents (6th vs 6th), you get the most experience.

Also, beating a Master as a 10th Dan will cause instant promotion, and the only way to rank up from Master is to get 5 wins against 10th Dan opponents, and losing to a 10th Dan will lose the Master rank.

Tourneys and non ballooned item matches appear at random to me, so you just have to keep playing.

As for the star, that just means that you've beaten that opponent in Quest before.

what things do i need to do to get 100% completion?

-getting all emblems/items
-fighting all opps. in every arcade
-winning all official tourneys

what else? what is wrong?

 

100% completion = all the achievements I suppose. Maybe search for the achievement list?

 

im not talking about the xbox achievements. i mean the 100% completion in dojo after which you get 999999g for all other chars.!

i suppose you have to do the above stated and being on the highest possible rank (conqueror).

what are those rivals that i have to beat?

 

Beat all opponents, get all items and get all emblems. That means, everything you see in the status (The menu from where you can see the player list and emblem list).

I dont think conqueror rank is required, I believe just achieving one of the three final ranks is enough (they depend on win%)
