Quest Mode Rival List

I've been playing through the first arcade and find that I've beaten all the rivals except for the last 3 on the list that just don't show up at all. Has anyone faced them yet and if so, do you have to fulfil certain conditions?

if you go to the home menu go to status>rival list

 

Ok. If by the first arcade you mean the SEGA Arena Coast, the first of those three is called Aoihime (no idea where I played against him) and the second one is called Huntress (I played her on a tournament). Turns out I only have the last one left to play on that arcade

 

Yeah, that's the arcade I'm talking about. I'm starting to believe that the last 3 in each arcade are tournament only opponents.

I'm fairly new to VF5 on my xbox360.
I thought my question would fit quite well here, so I didn't open a new topic.

Ok, so I have the problem with the Rivals as well.
I fought and won against every rival at the Coast and Bay Arenas.
Even tho all "?????" are filled out with a name now (so there're no unknown rivals left in the list) I still didn't get the 100%.
For the Bay Area Arena it says 97,x% and for the Coast Arena it says 99,2%.
So from that I take, there're hmm "secret" (not listed) rivals somewhere?
Any one having experienced the same or found the "missing" rivals?
I kinda do not understand this LOL

I've beaten three arcades so far and got 100% on the special rivals list.

Some people won't appear until you rank up.

I couldn't see the last opponent in the South arcade until I hit conquerer.

 

My rival is ButtonM4sh.

 

You might have faced them all but you probably have not beat them all. If you have defeated someone at least one time they will have a star next to their name. Check your list again and see if everyone has a star.

If they all have stars I'm afraid I can't help you any further.

And yes, Shag, you're right!
There were indeed rivals without a star symbol next to their name.
After I did fight and beat them again, the star symbols were appearing and now I have the 2 arenas a 100% complete.

I've got the exact same problem - the last 3. It's took me so long but I'm finally close to completing one arcade. Seeing as I play as all characters it takes a hell of a lot of time. My Lei-Fei is just 3 away in the easiest arcade. How do I find these players? I've entered and reentered the arcade dozens of times and they never show. Did you figure out how to find them Kaiser?

 

Yeah, I found them after beating the final official tournament (the one where you get the swanky credits). They seem to appear after you've done that. My advice is move onto the next arcade until you get the final tournament. They'll appear after that.

Not really. I'd got the final tournament around the time of the 3rd or 4th arcade.
