This is a translation for the Japanese version of PS2 Evolution's Quest Mode. I'd like to thank all who contributed information in the original PS2 Evo, quest mode thread started by Llanfair.

The way to progress through Quest Mode is to enter each Arcade's tournament and win, where winning means placing in the top 3. After winning a tournament you unlock the next Arcade in the Quest. However, you must qualify for each tournament by meeting certain criteria. This will be defined in each Arcade's Main Quest. Aside from working on a Main Quest to qualify for a tournament, you can also choose to do Quest Orders. These are quests that will reward you with either money or an Item. Quest Orders that reward with Items will be marked with an asterisk (*). Only three quest orders are available at any time, so to progress down the list of quest orders you must choose and complete them.

There are a total of 8 Arcades in Quest mode.

Just made a correction to the last Quest Order at Sega World North.

    It used to read:

*9. Counter Hit with attacks over 21pts damage 10 times

    but is actually:

*9. Perform the first attack of 21pts damage or more 10 times

I always doubted my initial translation, and seemed to have passed it without really knowing why. It'd be nice if there was a way to check which sub-quests you had completed, but oh well, I remembered it second time round and translated it properly. So, sorry about that.

you'll find answer in tutorial(btw. you'll gain item for finishing it). anyway guaranted throw means that you have to throw your opponent while he is recovering after a powerfull move.

Is there any way to tell what event square tournaments you've already won? I can't remember which ones I've completed.

Yep, look under your STATUS and there should be a tournament option in the right side menu (first one I think?). Select that for a list of ALL tournaments you've placed top-3 in. The Event square tournaments and game center tournaments all show up here.
