Just completed quest mode (100%). The final achievement is called "Quest Trifecta". Once completed, you can restart quest mode with any character whole holding LB to start with MAXIMUM MONEY! Too good! You can buy out the items in the shop immediately, then just do item battles for anything else you need. VERY HANDY!

Good to know. What was your total time played when you got to 100%? I don't know if I have it in me to attempt this. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

So if I complete a quest 100% with one character, I can start with another character with max. money?

    That's pretty cool actually.

I think he means unlimited money or it could be that you start off with enough money that you can buy everything in the store for that character.

Ok, couple of answers. You have the option to start with 999,999 money. As a test, I went back into quest mode and startd a new character. I picked Eileen and got my 999,999. After purchasing the shop out, I had spent approximately 900,000 credits. I also checked my status to see that I had about 62% of the items, leaving 38% to be gained from item battles and tournaments. Using the balloon trick and entering tournaments, you should be able to have the remaining 38% items in a couple hours or so... that's not too bad really.

For time involved, my "Quest Mode Insights" post gives a bit of a rundown as to the time involved, but honestly, I think that estimate is a bit short. Throughout quest mode, I was doing about 20% arcade per hour which means 5 hours per arcade multiplied by seven arcades. There is also a "Special" rivals page which has 60 enemies that seem to randomly show up in different arcades. If I had to take a wild guess, estimating in the time of repeat battles and tournaments, I probably put 50 hours into quest (maybe less, maybe more). The time displayed in your status isn't accurate because that ONLY takes into consideration time played while the in-game timer is counting down. No loads, no exiting out because you fought had fought the opponent already, win/loss poses, "item battle" intro/outtro screen. It's a lot of work!

Apparently they added several hundred AI to quest mode since the PS3 version which makes it even more of a grind. Doesn't make much sense to me since the game is now online.

This is good to know, thanks much, TC.

Still...I daresay I won't ever be good enough to 100% this game. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

Anyone that's here is probably good enough to 100% quest mode. The real question is do you want to invest the time? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
