Quick newbie questions

    I just recently went from playing sp to mp and had a few questions.

    what is with the numbers used to describe moves, like -9 on block or 236p?

    also im getting fudged up sometimes by /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif and stuff whats a good counter?

    -9 on block means that when your move is blocked you have a disadvantage of 9 frames, this effectively means that your opponent can move 9 frames before you can. You can few the frame data for Eileens moves here http://virtuafighter.com/commands/index.php?ver=5c&chara=eileen

    236p means a quarter circle forward and then P. 2=down, 3=downforward, 6=forward. look at the numpad on the right of your keyboard.

    a good low punch counter is after you block one, 6p (elbow), or simply reply with a low punch of your own.
