Are you kidding me? Rest In Peace?! Fuck that, I hope he burns in hell. Also it's unlikely because of the candidates of new presidency, but I hope NK can take a turn for the better because it's a shit-hole right now, this is the only chance.

Heh, when I saw the thread in the active ones, that was my first thought: "WTF!? Rest in PEACE! Let the demons fuck him in the ass!"

I wouldn't expect you, Shadowdean, to mean it in any other way but a joke. Too bad internet does not recognise intentions or tone in the written words.

Anyway, hope he suffered. All hail the deaths of Kims.

This is somewhat reminiscent of all the "celebrations" on the internet and in the media over the announcement of Osama's death. Perhaps this isn't popular opinion, but I find the celebration of any death quite disturbing and morbid.

The mis-quote of Martin Luther King Jr seems appropriate in this case.

BTW, it's Kim Jong-il, not Jong II (2).

I agree with Myke as well. I believe it is wrong to celebrate any death.

I don't agree. It's wrong to celebrate the death of a guy like Hitler who murdered millions?

I think it is strange for people to celebrate someone's death if they were not directly affected by that person(s).

I find it strange with 9/11 in which many civilians were killed and you see civilians from middle east countries celebrating the event.

I find it strange with Osama bin Laden's death, Americans happily partying outside. I am happy his death might bring some peace/closure to those whom family were killed by Al Qaeda. However, I'm quite sure many of the people drinking beer and screaming outside were not those people.

So I think to address your question - I do not celebrate/nor am I happy/nor am I sad Hitler died at the conclusion of the World War II in Europe. For me, Hitler is just a part of history. For those that would have been directly affected by him (sixty+ old people from that time), if his death brought closure for them, I am happy for them.

CNN reported it as Kim Jong II...the two I's making the I'llll sound.
I don't believe in celebrating death, per se, but I can certainly celebrate this fucker not being around any more.

It's written as Il capital i and lower case L. so it looks like II, but when you look at the grammer it's actually iL.
