Overall I wouldn't rate my game very high at all even I don't think there is a letter good enough to even gauge it in the alphabet in my own mind anyway. (I am my own toughest critic, I know I can play good though it just isn't good enough for my own tastes I always expect more than I get.)

lol... im not kidding though. There's waaaay to much work to be done. The good thing is that I know where to go, and I don't mind leaving my turtle shell to get things done.

I've got a long way to go. In previous versions I only really had myself and the CPU to play with. None of my friends were hardcore into the game. Now though, with VF5, I have an endless stream of awesome players that will force me to work on the weaker parts of my game.

 

I've lost over 1200 matches this year.
I've learned from every match I've lost.

A year ago my opponent could win and still have
40% or 50% health left at the end of the round and
maybe 20-to-25 seconds still left on the clock.

This year for each opponent that I've lost to he/she
had no more than 20% health left and there was typically
less than 15 seconds left on the clock.

For two of the matches that I lost in the last 6 months
my opponents broke their sticks during the match.

For the last three years I've studied all the ways that
I could loose while trying my best to win. I probably understand
the loosing match from many more perspectives than my opponents.

I still have a little more to learn about loosing in serious VF
matches. I need to be beat by some of the very best. To do that
I'm saving up for a plane ticket. Once I have the opportunity
to loose at the hands of the very best my lessons will have been learned. Then the time for loosing will be over.

At that point I will have the opportunity to share what I have learned about loss with others.

My current goal is to loose 2500 fights this year at the hands of
fair to good players. I am almost 50% of the way there.
