RO on purpose - wtf do they want?

It's happened to me twice now. One may have been an accident - he took one hit then just backdashed off - the other he (diff player) backdashed and then jumped over the fence. And then the next round they both started trying again! Pretty sure it wasn't just an intimidation move, it was 1-0 already and I was clearly doing better. One I had beaten several times before.

WTF? The first time I thought I'd be classy and do the same the next round, maybe he needed to go somewhere quickly or sth - and then the bastard still gave me a bad review!

Seriously, why? I'm drawing a blank here.

Dude, people have, you know, real lives? Did you ever think that maybe your opponent had to to leave and was considerate enough to ring out himself instead of disconnecting you?

    Stop moaning for non-issues please.

I've done it twice myself so I can tell you why...It's because there's too much lag...

When I'm not comfortable with the connection on the 1st round, wether I lost or not the 1st round, I just ring myself out when it's possible to conclude the match and give the "AVOID THIS PLAYER" feedback to make sure not to meet him again.

    Geez..sorry..

Why do it once, though, and then the next round go at it full force again? That's what's happened to me. The first time, I did a RO on purpose as well, thinking he wasn't ready yet or sth (if the timer goes all the way to 00 before you press 'Ready' does it disconnect or start the match anyway?). It was a demotion fight for him, too.

Both of my wtf experiences were no lag fights. At least one of them gave me a bad review though.

I've only seen the "ready" timer run out once, so dunno if this happens every time, but... it gave me the "you have been disconnected from xbox live" message, and kicked me out to the menu.

Also, I've heard of people going for RO like what you're describing if they have their controls set wrong, for one example... kind of easy to do if you just got a stick or w/e.

I played Outfoxed the other night after my son swithed the control scheme, and I jumped out of the ring. Thank god for no walls.
