SEGA would like a LIVE STREAMER for EVO

Sup guys, got a text last night from a sega rep saying they have no live stream for days 1 & 2 and the beginning of 3.

If you're attending EVO & want to live stream it, speak up!

A few notes: you will have to provide your own streaming equipment & broadcasters unless u want no commentary, up to you...

I may do it myself but who knows.

Thanks to all those spreading the word! I only know a few people that could do it, I will spread the word to them, but I definitely want the most experienced (and hardened) people we can get on this.

I'm definitely up for it, but it costs about $300 each way to ship my equipment (overweight baggage fees)... so unless I get that covered, I can't really afford to stream at EVO.

Also, I wont be able to bring any monitors, since I can't really ship those on the plane, so Sega would have to supply those (I would need an extra 2).

I can't make EVO anymore but I'd consider sponsoring one or both ways if you could get me a real figure for what it would cost.

 

I'm down to help out if I can. $300 to get Jaxels stuff there? If we all chip in we could knock that out easy. I'd be down to help on the commentary too. Maybe I can get one of my buds to help out that has a setup in Vegas already....hmmmm

 

Jaxel, I would happily donate $100 for you to stream the event. Hopefully others can chip in as well. I know $100 wont cover all your costs.

 

I will call up US Airways tomorrow and find out the exact price.

 

Yeah, I think we should be contacting sega about paying for Jaxel first before we jump into donations and stuff.

 

Yeah, I just called up US Airways... its $200 for my first overweight cargo ($25+$175), and then it would be $35 for my second baggage.

So if Sega is up for having my stream at EVO, it would be $235 each way. I personally would say round that up to $300 because its some pretty big equipment and I would need to tip any attendant who helped me move the stuff... as well as a Van Taxi (my stuff wont fit in the trunk of a sedan)
