Yea I heard em say that too. I also heard em say something about VF being re-balanced/upated 9 times since...I forget if it was since R or VF5 Ver. C. But that's a lot of updates! Always said i'd like to have their final version. Which seems like never since it's always getting updated But i'm glad in a way we didn't get FS so early on. And I still believe that's why.

Be cool to finally get it one day. I'll be pretty bummed if it doesn't have online though. Didn't Microsoft put up their own money for VF5 to be able to be played online, or something like that?

 

didnt catch their names but they knew their VF and i guess its good to get the best version but i really wish they would of given us R, the music and interface seems a lot more darker than VF5 and FS

 

If VF5FS comes out I'll be one of the first to get it but I stopped anticipating it awhile ago.

 

don't forget about that "final showdown" trademark a while back.

 

I wouldn't be too worried IF it's FS being released. Remember that it has the option to use other version's music and still kinda' retains that darkish background.

I can assure you that almost the whole community feels this way. Check back to the posts during E3 when FS wasn't released there.

 

I know everyone feels the same way and has been since R. I'm pretty sure after the Tokyo Game Show when VF once again doesn't make an appearance we'll all just say fuck it and make an obituary for our hopes and dreams.

 

i might have been one of the people posting my anger when Sega didn't announce FS at this year's E3. the only announcement i wanted and it didn't come. the TGS, like others have said, may be their last chance. otherwise we could probably forget about a console version.

even if they just release a PS3 version of FS in Japan and not the US, i will import it, even if it's close to $100.

 

Yeah I saw that. I mean I kept hearing that the console port was a lock at some point, then nothing. Maybe that's what Jide was referring to? Either way I need some new VF. These other new games just get worse and worse with few exceptions.

 

i guess but FS is like all volcano themed and stuff not like R where it was like a machine or something lol and the vs for R was amazing too FS is just like a remix of 5 and also i was reading some threads earlier i saw one saying that sega wants to bring games to the US that fans want, i hope one of those is VF =( even though its not that popular in america im sure tournaments that are streamed today would make a bracket for it i mean they still stream tekken and blazblue and no one really likes blazblue tekke is like 50/50 but yeah =(

 

This is killing me. I want to give up, move on to other games... But nothing is like VF.

I've tried, really tried, to like Street Fighter 4 and 3s (and Marvel, and GG, and Tekken, and SC and so on), but the community is too crazy and the games are not as balanced and awesome as VF.

 

If anything, I will NOT miss 0f throws

As to the rumour, There was the Trademarked for console last year and after talking with someone @ SS2K11 who has a little bit of knowledge on this stuff(take an educated guess but I won't post his name)

Is that SEGA has been working with development for 5s for console for a while now they are just trying to figure out when to release it.

I'm not gonna say more than this though but hopefully it can give some spark to keep you guys going, certainly gave me the feeling after talking with him about this that it's not dead yet. And after no E3 announcement, this is what I needed.

Also when I asked Gamerbee about potentially switching back to VF5 after FS comes out he said "Maybe but I've been hurt too many times, FUCK SEGA" he smiled after that last part
