    Shun's combo ability is pretty limited. If you want to put a scrub to shame, you might want to try some tech-rollable combos. I know that shun can keep hitting people on the floor with his DF+P... that's the little uppercut, not the shoulder attack. To get an uppercut instead of a ground attack, you need to hold DF on the stick for a second before pressing P:

    [2][3][6][P] - [P] - [2][3][6][P] - [3_][P] - [3_][P] - [3_][P]

    I know you can end in three DF+P's, maybe more. It depends on how light your enemy is. Note that this isn't a true combo vs. good players, but a scrub probably doesn't know how to get out of it.

    Speaking of that, here's a list of guaranteed combos, which are the most damaging that I know of vs. every character. Note that LW means the combo works against female opponents, but nobody heavier. MW = male opponents except wolf and jeffry.. and HW = wolf and jeffry.
    So if your friend likes to play akira, you should try the MW combos. If he plays Sarah, a LW combo should work. You get the idea.

    ==============
    QCF+P followups
    ---------------
    >> F+P -> K,K [74 pts]
    [LW, closed stance, can also end in F+P->P->f,f+K->df+P (ground attack)]
    >> F+P -> f,f+K -> df+P (ground attack) [70 pts]
    [MW, open stance]
    >> K,K [70 pts]
    [HW, closed stance]
    >> F+P -> P,P,P [64 pts]
    [HW, open stance]

    u+K followups
    -------------
    >> u+P (pounce) [55 pts]
    [ALL]

    FC, DF+P followups
    ------------------
    >> d+P -> db+P,K [70-73] *
    [ALL, more damage vs HW]

    b,df+P followups
    ----------------
    >> P,P,P [60 pts]
    [MW, closed stance for heavier midweights. For variety on lightweights, you can also get P -> b,df+P or P -> QCF+P in open stance]
    >> db+K,K [56 pts]
    [MW]
    >> b,df+P [57 pts] *
    [HW, open stance vs heavier mids and up. More damaging vs heavies, mids get 52 pts]
    >> df+P [52 pts]
    [HW, closed stance, hold DF before pressing punch to avoid trying a ground attack]

    After 8 drinks:
    [3_][P]+[K][3][P][P][K]
    If the [3_][P]+[K] is fully charged and hits on counter, that little number there will do about 90 pts damage.

    thanks for the shun knowledge...
    you'll probably be seeing alot of strangers from Louisiana after
    these combos.

    instead of following [8]+[K] with a pounce there's something so much better! if you hit them without a counter and they fall backwards with their legs in the air, time it right and do a [6]+[P]+[K] and hit their legs, you'll also get 3dps.

    If the opponent is good, they can tech from that and get you.

    they can techroll out of the [8]+[K]?? you sure? it looks like one of those hits you can't tech out of cuz it's a really fast fall, nevermind the timing is probly difficult. It's really only good to use that mule kick to counter a dashing in attack or maybe as a surprise up close, either way in both instances it's gonna be kinda hard to techroll.

    SD was talking about TR'ing after the [6][P]+[K] & punishing Shun while he drinks...that flop guarantees a followup.

    In the Shun title scrable vids a couple of the Shun's were comboing the flop with a little evade & [6][P][P][K] (could have been more/less punches?). I don't know how many drinks Shun had in him at the time, sorry...does anyone have good reasons why for this? I'm just curious. Thanks.

    I used this until I realised that the pounce did more damage and was easier to execute. The only reason to do the [6][P],[P],[K] is that it doesn't break the flow of the game as much.

    Good point. I always go for the pounce - no timing issue.
