Post I found on vfgg.net that goes through setups for some of the cast. If someone who reads Korean can translate the text that'd be sweet!

I'm unsure if they just didn't bother to go through the whole cast or if everyone in unable to do this. I'm fairly certain everyone has a move/set of moves that'll let you keep folks sideturned after tech.

I couldn't find the post on vfgg.net (but I don't speak or read Korean), do you have a link to the post?

BTW, thanks and great find! ^_^

Played around with this a fair bit and as far as I can see any move will do. Seems to be more about the timing of your move and the position your opponent is rising from, actve frames may play a part in it.

    Cheers for the vid Tricky.

Well I think a lot of people knew about things like OM to setup back-turned. Forced Side-Turn I've missed the conversation on completely though I'd seen it a little here and there.
But having it written about directly (like a how to) or shown to you in video form is GOLDEN ^_^

Nothing is written there it's just a link to the video. I'm actually struggling to get this to work, what is the trick to it?

Since you seem to get this, how does it work man? Can you explain it in english for me?

Just timing, awfully difficult (maybe impossible) to replicate some of this stuff in dojo though. Had to test most of my stuff in versus.

Edit: I can be your dojo dummy if you want to test anything :D

Haha practicing timing with an overseas connection will just make me rage. I'm curious if foot stance plays any roll and the type of tech roll your opponent does changes things too.

We may get full bars lo'

Anyway i'm not entirely sure of the specifics, pretty tough to work it out when you can't reliably do it in dojo.

From what I can tell it just looks like if your opponent recovers (quick rise or tech roll) from any knockdown that's not head towards then they have to reallign, which means there's a small window where they go through backturned then sideturned before facing forwards.

Pretty sure foot stance isn't a factor.

so it depends on the position the opponent is in when they hit the ground. SO where do I want my body to be when they're rising? To their feet ?

Don't think it matters, they're going through that window regardless of which side you're on. You remember the free attacks to the opponents back if they recover from feet towards knockdowns in Vanilla? Works exactly the same as that from what I can tell, just a matter of timing as it's a very small window.

Do a move that causes a spinning knockdown and time a meaty for sideteching opponent and you'll get him sideturned. If they tech in place you can hit them in the back for free.

I've finally been able to get it. It really requires great oki positioning. This is great tech to use when you drop combos with eileen :)

Like it has been said above you need either a spinning knockdown or something that will leave the oppoenent with head away.

Like the meaty setups, it also depends on your opponent weight and the moment they tech. Character weight influence the character fall, hence the moment they are able to tech (ie heavier can tech earlier).
Some setups won't work if you set CPU to do a perfect tech, others require perfect tech.
So you've got to experiment with the different combinations to see if it works on a given char
Also some setups will work whith only one of the 2 tech roll directions (front or back).
So they are 3 variables (weight, tech timing, roll direction)

I've actually gotten this to work so far only with the head facing me face down in the ground. I haven't gotten around to testing the other ways yet. Like after eileen's 3P+KCH, 2P , 6K leaves her in that position. No spinning body required.

You don't need a spinning knock down if the opponets position is already screwed. As a matter of fact adding a spin ending to some comboes with weird positioning can actually end up turning your opponent the "right" way instead.
