I read the article, and I felt that there were some points that were inaccurate for both VF and Doa. So I made a post about it on my site. I would like some feedback...your thoughts on the subject would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Looks like Mr. Sirlin's website is down at the moment so it's going to be hard to provide feedback concerning your commentary of the original article.

    EDIT: OK, it's back online.

    virtuaPAI,

It is also important to remember that in VF evades are more or less another option thrown into the mix, together with clash and OM (I think it can evade throws and full circulars if timed well). the RPS is just a simplification of yomi in this context, because the possibilities are endless. I am no VF expert, but this is all theory fighting, so it is not very interesting.

What happens now is that some theory fighters (McCoy, Erdraug) will post here telling you why, ON PAPER, this or that fighter is unbalanced, (note: its always not their main). then the discussion will evolve into a full fledged FLOW CHART battle, where theory fighter will argue abiout the best flowchart for every possible situation,

then IRL you just P them repeatedly until they stop playing themselves and actualy pay attention to what their opponent is doing.

You're right MatteoJHDY, OM can evade both throws and Full Circulars if done in the correct direction and at least +1 - with Eileen.

This all assumes your opponent hasn't delayed. The delay makes strange things happen that I'm unaware of.

When you can, post on his site. Most of the people there respect VF as a series. Sirlin's site is like the grumpy old folks home at times though.
