The Skinny:

-9+ non-laggy tube TVs
-Lots of games - official tournaments for MvC2, ST, CvS2, 3s, Guilty Gear, and more
-We really liked the space layout last time, but we did not like the water dripping on people's heads. We'll take care of that this time around!
-Alex Strife said he will get us a megaphone so we can actually call players for their turns and they'll hear us
-Lots of hate
-Lots of asswhuppings

OFFICIAL tournaments/ranbats to be held:

-SF3: Third Strike RETURNS to singles this time around: $2 entry
-CvS2: $2 entry (1 match losers bracket)
-Super Turbo: $2 entry (can you beat the 2-time EVO East champ? See below for a special event!)
-Marvel vs. Capcom 2: $2 entry
-Guilty Gear XX newest available version (entry TBA)
-Melty Blood
-GNT4 ( $5 entry )

Also, Virtua Fighter 5 as well as Tekken DR will be in the house if people want to play them. Last time LOTS of Tekken players showed up, which was dope.

Doors open at 12pm, short time for setup.

Casuals until 2:30pm.

Tourney signups start at 2pm for OFFICIAL games. This means MvC2, ST, 3s, CvS2, Guilty Gear, and anything else announced between now and then.

Tourney signups end at 3pm. Brackets are made and all official tournaments start at 3pm. Guilty Gear/Melty Blood might start later as I am not running those.

***SPECIAL EVENT: DXP MUST DIE!***
In order to help hype up the competition, I'm going to be doing a special event for ST. If you can beat me in the tournament and send me to losers OR eliminate me, I will give you $20 out of my own pocket. I figure this will be added incentive for 1. people to come out and play ST and 2. to get me to stop fucking around and losing like a scrub.

As always, after singles events end there will be more casuals

Parking is next door and is $25 flat rate for all day long. There is also LOTS of good food in the area.


Anyone willing to bring an Extra Television or Ps3 will receive FREE ENTRY...this means you do not have to pay $10 but rather just tournament fees.

This is where the hype is and its going to be 2 floors of Competitive Fighting Games. Lets show up and show support.

 

I noticed people have been taking a look but I need some VF support come on guys you at least gotta give me one good appearance lol

once vf5 arrives on xbox (provided its a good product..) you will see a return of the vf crew . i know i will

I love how the games you featured doesnt include VF at the top of the list.

if you are going to advertise on a website of the video games it would help if there is a DEFINATE consideration (meaning place it at the top of the list) of the game.
