so i will be getting VF5 and who do i play?

I love throwing so im thinking of making a el blaze alike because i love his style the throws and the moving but i only played the demo. So im going to make an el blaze but how i want him to look. So are there any others like el blaze that are like throwing masters?

 

Wolf, Jeffry, Goh, Aoi, Kage, Vanessa will fit that bill.

It takes a bit more work to win with Blaze than with other characters (he's low to low-mid tier), but it is definitely possible and is A LOT of fun when you do it right!

My take? I hate him (much like Brad, Eileen, Jacky, Kage, Lau, Lei Fei, Lion, Pai, Shun, OS Vanessa).

He is okay gameplay-wise (his range sucks, but Rocket Discharge is somewhat fun), but I find him utterly uninteresting compared to the other cast members (who aren't included in the demo).

But this is my jaded opinion.

 

el blaze is a grappeler that is still fast basically. It's like am2 looked into my brain and saw why I always hated throw based chars. I really like him I just haven't put the time into learning him yet. It's ruff learning a new char from scratch.

 

Yeah, El Blaze is a pretty interesting character to use, as his moves are fun to use (eg /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif) , and quite flashy to boot (most of his throws).

I can't say the same about his voice and quotes though...but like with all the characters, you will eventually be used to it. I can't imagine El Blaze not saying "Hot Dog" anymore..
