yup one of the best games out there was soul caliber 1 and i cant wait for SC2 to come out. just a few more days!

 

Favorite chars: Maxi, Mitsu, Xiang, Kilik
But I'm only good with Mitsu and a couple of others. Frankly I wish I was better with Maxi because he looks wicked in SC2 (player 2 outfit). I think you're either born able to use Maxi properly or not.

 

Actually my good man. Maxi isn't as hard as one would believe. If you like I can tell you a little about him from t he basics to some of his more complex stuff. /versus/images/icons/smile.gif You might find it VERY interesting. /versus/images/icons/wink.gif

SC2 on Consoles

So SC2 is revealed for consoles, and Link is really there for the Gamecube!! While I don't play the game, I am kinda surprised to see Link, Spawn, and a weapon-less Heihachi as additional exclusive characters for the home versions /versus/images/icons/smile.gif. What do you guys think?

No weapons for Heiachi? LOL!! Once again, Namco screws up a fantastic idea (at least on the PS2 version). I'll just buy the gamecube port instead.

Showcases Spawn, Hei and that stupid green guy. (Not Link, the other stupid green guy) Spawn tends to fly a lot and shoot eye beams in addition to looking like a spry version of Asta. Link keeps whipping out boomerangs, arrows, and bombs (Not featured in the vid, but he looks like he's been given a few of his older moves like the sword spin etc), and Heihachi fights about like he always has.

Necrid looks like an Unknown knock off. Rah. I suppose.

 

I wonder if most japanese people will even care about this game, since it's coming out right after the release of VF4 evo... I might still import the GC version so I can use link in a fighting game. But for me.. March is virtua fighter evo month, and nothing else. US won't get SC2 till august, by that time maybe it'll be a fun game to play after a tired session of VF4 evo. /versus/images/icons/laugh.gif

 

there actually are some people in Japan that will want sc2. But the majority will probably get vf4 evo. That's pretty much how it goes.

Summers.. here is the deal... first off.. a nyco gamecube to ps2 adaptor runs at about 8 dollars in the united states.

If you want to get the gamecube version.. make sure you buy it at a place where you can return it even after you open it. Because some companies have programed their game to where you cannot use a third party adaptor for the game. Example was Mortal Combat Deadly Alliance. I bought it for the gamecube and it wouldn't let me use the adaptors. So there is a possibility that it might happen to the gamecube version of sc2. Now, that's the only game I have had trouble with on the adaptor everything else seems to work fine. But just information for you to know.

 

I guess only the diehard Tekken fans and old school gamers like myself could really appreciate that Heihachi is in there. Yoshimitsu has a weapon in Tekken. HES CHEATING!!!!!!!!! yeah right. Play as Link? lol gotta buy a Gamecube which is another N64, gonna die in a few months, the sales are plummeting. Xbox its doin good. PS2? its doin better. Nintendo made another mistake with the cube and they know it, anyone read about the interviews from the president over in Japan they are allready talkin about the next system cuase Cube is doin bad now. When I was a kid i was a nintendo fanboy, but now i think they should follow segas example and be Software developers!

 

I would say Nintendo talked about the new system to not to be left out of the bunch as both Sony and M$ announced future systems (And like you said, they are not doing bad right?). Plus, it's a good way to deny the rumors that they are following Sega's suit.

Having said that, I personally prefer having few quality games on the NGC than having to deal with some shitty and bland PS2 games. The only reason I still have my PS2 is VF, and it's funny how long I had my PS2 without any games since I had it since it's first day in USA (Actually I just have VF4 and 3 Winning Eleven games; all import). Before anybody starts flaming, it's just my opinion so nobody should care /versus/images/icons/smile.gif, I am just saying it to show that many GC owners are just happy with their cubes like me .

 

No, i totally agree. Actually i just broke my PS2 right now tryin to get my VF4 to work! lol Looks like i gotta go shopping again, literally 2 minutes before this post i broke my PS2, oh GOD! Oh well, ill go and get a new one. So it will be nice and fresh new one, straight out the box, it will have that nice clean new console smell, and that ungreasy controler, oh yeah!! I hate to pay tho, DAMN! oh well. Should i get something else instead? Nah, then i wont be able to play VF4, sigh! Lifes a Bitch! Thats the third PS2 im gonna buy, lol. First one i got on luanch day but sold it a month later cuase i thought my Dremacast was good enough. Now this one Breaks, lol. So im going to the store for one more! Now thats a VF fan! HOOAH!
