Awesome, now don't put X-factor in this game Namco. Is bad enough T6BR has rage.

 

Does anyone actually care about this part?

I need to know how old their youngest girl character is.

(I've never played SC before but there is always a young girl character, isn't there?)

You'd be surprised, I've met a good amount of people that delve into the Soul Calibur mythos. Mostly all of them casual players.

 

It looks interesting, I am considering going back to SC so I have some other game to play on 360. I thought SC4 was going to be the last game oh well I am not complaining about it.

I wonder if a large majority of the female fighters will be replaced most likely due to the way women are portrayed in games when it comes to them being playable, their ages are always preserved in some way i.e. Nina and Anna Williams from Tekken being cryogenically frozen; Parasite Eve's Aya Brea having special mitochondria to keep her immortal or at least age slowly.

Also, if u guys remember, they MIGHT add Bayonetta in this game, there was some requests or wishes to put her in it if I've heard correctly.

I just hope my Setsuka returns. Or at least have another character use her style.

 

The original Soul Blade had a really interesting storyline and beautiful atmosphere and music. Excellent as a 1 player game but that's really been lost in the last few games.

Soul Calibur 1 was probably as big a change in gameplay mechanics as there's been in a fighting game sequel since SF1 to SF2.

 

They tried to bring the video interactivity in SC4, and I believe SC3... They should make it more interactive this time around... Plus, have a Conquest Mode like in the arcade days of SC2, but make it online, so that everyone can join 1 of 3 factions and fight for supremacy with actual players...

...and of course nerf Hilde...

I will drop VF if this game is any good, and I believe it's going to be good.

 

I plan on makin' SCV my main fighter.

 

Agreed I would rather they do an arcade release first and listen to feedback, do a few tweaks here and there etc. Sure means we have to wait a little longer but I don't mind waiting for a quality product

 

Its a namco game, thats still its biggest fault.

Lot of us do care dude., Its all about immersion. The trouble Namco goes through to provide a good backstory is just one of the reasons Soul Calibur out sells VF. Sure, we're all down with VS mode, but many many many SC fans love single player and all the single player modes, extras, movies, soundtracks, artwork, all that shit. The more the better. If they add a replay capability this time I'm set.
