I don't know who locked that thread (though Srider made the one reply), but I have to admit I was surprised that the Taka/Siba thread got locked.

It's a very casual VF conversation, but it is in the General VF5 section. While some people might feel it's not worthy conversation, I thought it was still innocent conversation. And conversations, in delayed time, is what forums do decently.

I think The Wall intended to ask, "if given the choice/option to bring Taka or Siba into VF5 Evolution, which one would you pick?"

I didn't see anything offensive about it.

So whoever locked that thread, I was surprised it was locked. The guy might not have been very coherent about what he was saying, but I don't think he was trying to set off a flamewar. His points sounded honest in various details like how he felt Siba was less likely for him because Siba had a freaking sword.

I think threads should be locked because they get out of control. Not necessarily because they are either "not worthy of certain people's time" or "they are still in control, but might get out of control." And it's not like The Wall continued a locked thread's discussion (though obviously, I am doing that here).

That said, I'm glad the 360 vs. PS3 console battle posts have calmed down in the 360 version thread of VF5.

When I made the thread there was a possibility that I put up an idea that I couldn't truly back up, considering I don't work for SEGA. I just wanted to get hype for lesser known characters and thought this was a good idea. Maybe I posted in the wrong forum or something if I did just put it in the right one. I would like to thank people for kindly renaming the thread and letting people know about the old one. If there was anything done wrong just let me know and then give me guidelines on how to start new topics because I am new at this. Again sorry for any inconveiences on this. My vote still stands 1 for Taka and 0 for Siba.

Character 1: Heavy Middle Weight Boxer outlined in an old thread.

Character 2: Heavy Middle Weight random guy based off one of my characters with fast high unblockables, solid mids, reversals and sabakis out the wazooo!, and evasive.

The game needs more heavier characters (the same 5 since VF1).

Yeah it was me that locked the thread. Well, I wasn't sure if the post was a joke or whatever... It seems to make little sense and it's a topic that I think has been beaten to death now. I guess I'll open it up again and see how it goes.
