    Super Battle Opera 2010 (Japan):

    [Category A]
    (3on3) Street Fighter IV
    (3on3) Tekken 6BR
    (2on2) Blazblue:CS
    (2on2) Arcana Heart 3
    (1on1) King of Fighters 2002UM
    (3on3) Virtua Fighter5 R

    [Category B]
    (3on3) Guilty Gear AC
    (3on3) Third Strike
    (1on1) Sengoku Basara X
    (3on3) Super Turbo

TvC is gone because Arcadia wasn't allowed a license for a DVD last year I'm guessing. 3S, SFIV, and ST make three SF games in one lineup. Super Turbo was dropped last year but X-Mania had a massive turnout proving that ST is very much alive so it's back again. Never heard of Sengoku Basara X. Rest of the lineup isn't unusual.

    Evolution 2010 (Las Vegas, U.S.):

    (1on1) ST: HDR
    (1on1) Super SFIV
(1on1) Super SFIV Women only tournament*
(1on1) Blazblue:CT (the console version, not the latest revision)
    (1on1) Tekken 6BR
    (1on1) TvC (U.S. release)
    Open vote for last game**

*This is a SSFIV tournament but only women are allowed to enter. There's been a ton of backlash already about this on the forum and on IRC. I'm betting that it will get canceled. Personally I'm appalled by the idea.

**There is going to be a poll on SRK sometime next month and everyone is going to get to vote for the last game at EVO. If the last game isn't MvC2 it will surely anger a huge amount of SRK regulars. If everyone went wild we could vote VF5 as the last game.

I'm surprised SBX made it in. I'm not really complaining though since I'm a massive fan of all the Basara games in general.

Nice, if I chick has to high of testosterone levels will she be stripped of her title? A vag tournament sounds rather silly, but at least you can see what the 2D game chick populations asses look like.

there's usually 8 games right? So my guess is s4 and mvc2. SC4 had a great turnout so it would be stupid to not include it again.

As of two years ago they cut the number of official games down to six.

I'm a bit worried about their decisions to include BB:CT and TvC.

The first BlazBlue is a dead game especially with the sequel being leaked last week. It had a great amount people for the impromptu side tourney last year though but the game was really new; it hadn't even been released on console at the time. I don't think the MvC crowd has embraced TvC since its Wii exclusive.

As far as the voted game, I think MvC2 will take it even if it means playing on PS3. I'm sorta pulling for Melty Blood, I've admired the game from afar and the community has been getting bigger every year. The MB players were so hype at NECX I couldn't help but notice them.

Reno did a small writeup on SBO 2010. It looks like ST at SBO might be 2v2 again. The Arcadia article says 3v2 (typo). I'd rather have ST be 3v3 like it originally was at SBO but at least the game is back.

As far as EVO goes, the voting is open right now in the EVO subforum, for what the last game will be at EVO 2010. There look to be lots of votes for MvC2, CvS2, and Melty Blood. My guess is that the Capcom games split the votes between them and Melty Blood comes out on top but just barely.

And yeah, Blazblue CT is deader than a graveyard, and TvC is a joke compared to MvC2. Pretty shoddy line up aside from Tekken 6BR.

Looks like Blazblue: CT was dropped from EVO this year. Marvel vs Capcom 2 (PS3 version lol) is going to replace BB:CT. The voted in game at EVO is Melty Blood.

I can't believe that EVO would host Melty Blood over CvS2 but whatever.
