Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition

Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edtion for Consoles????

There's a chance the arcade edition of Super Street Fighter 4 might come to consoles. It includes more characters such as SF 3's Yun and Yang, and Evil Ryu and Oni Akuma.

On a more personal side-note, I'm glad I didn't buy the regular SSF4 for consoles since I'm saving my money for the Nintendo 3DS version and also didn't want to feel obligated in purchasing the tons of DLC that I think will also be included in the 3DS version.

 

They'll probably just go the Blazblue route and sell the individual characters, not to mention sell the "extra outfits"...

 

Arcade Edtion confirmed as downloadable content.

 

In any case, SEGA AM2 could learn a lesson from CAPCOM in building on an existing product/disc.

I'm going to have to dust off my copy of SSF4 to get this for console. I'm pretty psyched that they also are giving us the rebalanced version of the game too.

I will be sad to lose cammy's top tier status. People slept on her for so long. I always knew *single manly dan style tear* that she was the best.

Amazon lists SSF4 AC as seperate game. YESS!! Hope this is true so I can skip purchasing the regular SSF4 seeing as how I bought it for 3DS.

 

Also if u guys don't mind, since we are on the topic of Street Fighter, did any of guys catch last Sunday's episode of Family Guy?

 

This games doesn't sound all that interesting to me at all. I would think that they would a have better choice of new characters. I can't afford a 3DS but if I could I wouldn't get SSF4 for it I will stick the version I have on PS3 until AE comes out. Personally I think that the version now might be better than AE in all honesty. The thought of playing Yun, Yang, Oni, and Evil Ryu is the big reason why I wouldn't want to play it. All I will ever see are people playing those 4 characters for the most part, I can already see that coming already.

 

Yah, they've announced a disc release, I guess the DLC isn't coming. I would have purchased it if it was DLC but fuck buying the game on disc for a third time.

 

Capcom should've just dropped EX4 already... They went in the right direction with EX2, but royally screwed up in EX3... Besides, Arika's character designs and their playstyles were better than the majority of the new characters in SF4... Juri is the best "new" character imo; it would've been Abel, but he seems like a straight KoF rip-off to me...

 

I think it is both DLC and a disc release if I'm not mistaken.
