Team Anything Goes VF - practice sessions

ArchAngel was talking to me about this on IRC and so here is a nice little thread about TAGVF meeting up and having some nice matches and stuff.

so.

to begin with i guess it's good to figure out when folks are or aren't free. i'll go first. i am a working man and currently my shift means i work weekends. this is a bit of a pain, but i get an extra day off so.. /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif
the times when i'm available are as follows:

Monday - not free.
Tuesday - ALL DAY
Wednesday - ALL DAY
Thursday - ALL DAY
Friday - From 6PM
Saturday - From 6PM
Sunday - From 6PM

as for a place to meet, well if the troc doesn't sort itself out i am happy to have fellas round my house. i live with my parents still (GAH!) but they're cool with lots of folks coming over, although space restrictions mean i can only fit about 5 guys in my room, 6 at a push (but it might be cramped).
i live in herne hill which is zone 2, about 15 mins by train from victoria or london bridge or blackfriars. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

up until febuary, i think i'm free on these days :

Monday = Free
Tuesday = Free
Wenesday = Free
Thursday = Free
Friday = Free
Saturday = Free
Sunday = Only if u pay me /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

as u can see i have a very busy week not a lot of room for vf. /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

 

it's be my honour to attend such important meetings.....
we shall be having discussion on topics such as achieving world domination effectively and such.....
I'd say for a start....... we should be seriously looking at ways to defeat Ryan the tyrant, and free all tortured souls from within the UK.... next the US and CA, then goes Europe and Korea, final destination Japan.... it's not going to be easy, but downed men will be awarded the medal of honour (a dodgy copy version for PC).

anyway........ anything other than Fris and Sats should be fine for me.... /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

sidenote: onny, also be prepared for the Maxi's revenge........

 

I'm pretty much the same as Arch Angel up there since we go to the same Uni, lol. Although some weekends might be taken up since I got chinese new year party to go to soon. Dunno what weekend it's gonnah be on.

Like berserker said, first Ryan, then the UK, USA, Europeans, then.....THEN....THEN THE WORLD!!!! *evil laugh* mwahahahahahaha

 

i see.. so it sounds like midweek might be best, but that all depends on BareKnuckle i guess hehe.

how far does everyone have to go to get into central london?

(seriously though after a few months of training up maybe we should organise a big team battle VS pre absoltuion warm up with you guys, march early april? So we can get a feel of what tactics to use to beat you guys /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif )

Well getting to london bridge is no problem for me been going there for about 4 years now.

lol, seriously tho, there's quite a painful borderline from me and the top players of the UK, i gotta get better and get serious. the only think i've done this year is get a 9 win streak against VO, jason, (dunno who else, i think arch, but he'll just kick my ass next time ) but i reckon that was just abit of luck.

i gotta match up, i got 3-0ed by the usual heads last event, the unfunny thing is it's just gonna happen again next time. practice is much needed.

i'm back at uni now, so i'm only free time i have other than weekends is after college (oh, and wednesdays or sundays i can't do period)

just give a time and i'll say wether i can make it.

P.S i'm down for TTT too if any manz play it, i know i'd like to see more of masa's devil & kuma trash me with some veteran skillz, hehe

 

oo im part of the gang i feel so special and needed, lets just not mention teambattles on sunday where i failed the fellowship versus saruman and his brethen.
I could help you guys with tactics and stuff against jason, mark and co, maybe not ryan since he mixes things up so well.

that might all change in a few weeks, planning to go back to studies this year and need to enrol on some part time courses to get those creative juises flowing but its hard doing anything when you got VF on the brain.

Hi to all of you,

I've been quiet on this board since Vf3 however, I have been getting more and more interested in Evo of late, so I'd like to get some practice in.

The thing is I feel as though I'm still in the VF3 frame of mind. I need to get out of that and get into evo. I am well up for practice sessions as I have a lot of time on my hands atm.

Does anyone want to meet up today (Thursday - I know it's short notice) if so, could you lot post here if you want to do it and where you'd like to do it. My offer is that my place is available. if you're interested, post here or e-mail me vf@habashi.co.uk

ill be there on friday early as i have the day off and will get there by 6:30 maybe after gym booring!, had a fright to day, thjink my PC was being hacked or hackers were installing some shyt on my computer cus it was soo slow, so slow infact i couldn't type emails cus the page loaded to slow. Luckily found some free software download sites to scan and cleanout the crap they left in, also got some free anti virus software too. Does anyone recomend any other sites that offer free protection against virus's and hackin, spying shyt like that.

hey onny, nice matches last night and a neat lil tourney, gotta tell us who came where in it?

As for TheHY who came alone, u got a nice lei fei. Keep it up!

I was seriously tired tho, hence why all th TFTs I were doing were weird and not the normal damaging ones. Next time we meet up I'll be sure to have a red bull of something, hehehe.

anyway... results of the "Part of Team Anything Goes VF and Jide and TheHY League thing" are as follows:

1st - ArchAngel (8 wins.. undefeated!)
2nd - Jide (6 wins)
3rd - Onny (4 wins)
4th - R-Silver (2 wins)
5th - TheHY (0 wins)

i was also looking at the records and considering we only played for about 5 hours we had a suprising number of games! and yeah raging silver, those random TFT combos were jokes! hehehe.

next time we'll try to get the whole team together.. it's just a question of when. we must defeat the Uramachi bums! /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif
