Tech Rolling Bounce Combos?

    When playing with Pushku last night, he informed me that Akira's Combo:

    could be Tech Rolled to avoid the Double Palm. At first I thought Dobi'd been smoking too much weed again, that little monkey (he was mashing the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif button more than normal, too...) come to find out, I did it a few times!

    He explained that as before, the rule is that you can't do so when your character is falling "backwards" (face up head towards, or face down feet towards). So, for example, Kage's combos from /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif can't be teched out of, since you're falling backwards. And of course, you can't tech a "slam" when you're already on the ground; no TR'ing out of Akira's

    IF this is possible, it puts a pretty different spin on things. i was able to get it out 2 or 3 times against Plague/La Akira, but I'm not sure if this is really doable all the time, against all slams.

    2 people could test this, as there's no way to set it up in training mode /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif. The CPU wouldn't TR the bounce combos I tried, but did after things like Wolf's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif in the air.

    anyone tried TRing out of these combos?

    I think you're timing was late on the bounce slam. That's the only time I've ever seen the combo TC interrupted.

    It's only TR'able if you mess up the timing of the slam hit. CPU does TR bounce combos this way as well.

    We could check that easily if we could record opponents actions in the free training. But nooooo, SEGA left it for the forum speculations /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

    We could already check that easily. I found that out via the dojo mode where I screwed up eileen's timing in her bounce combo and the CPU TR'ed it.
