temp venue 4 LONDON league

Alright people, Gamefocus was great fun and respect to all those involved, esp odas jeff 4 taking us 2 the finals.

My bro just got a new flat and his not gonna move in 4 some time, we can use it 4 some virtua fighting. It a completely empty bedsit in bethnal green(central line, 1 stop from liverpool street).

Its free and availiable any days 4 the next 2 weeks, cause im going back 2 uni. Cause its empty theres no furniture, i can provide 2 chairs, a tv stand and my hifi 4 better sound.

If yous drive/ can bring 2 tvs, a ps2, and a decent amount of people cum down, well have a gathering.

4 those who cant remeber me, I was the small asian dude playing lei fei. Though i dont know everyone well, everyones invited 4 being vfers.

If anyones got alternative venues or wants to do the above, then post your thoughts here. Cheers.

Yeah i don't mind bringing my ps2 and stick in tow for the journey. But a tv seems out of the question.

As I said, its availiabe anytime for the next 2 weeks. Being a unemployed student gives me a flexible timetable so yous can decide when u want to do this.

Since everyone turned up to gamefocus on saturday, we could do something this saturday, or even b4. If ryans thing goes off then nothing this saturday and maybe next.

Optimus and Random will get the ps2s so we just need 1/2 tvs and a means of transport.

If ryans thing dont work out and people put their names down by thursday night, well gather this week saturday, otherwise nextweek. So post your names down. If this thread dont get livelier then well forget the whole thing. And yeh we can play ice-9, whoever he is, anytime, so long as a decent number people cum down+we have the equipment. Cheers.

It would be best if this took place not this sat but the one after as I think the other event will be taking precedence, plus gives more time for other peeps to get interested /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

 

I can make it for Saturday, though I don't have any hardware to bring and will be relying on others as usual.

5.) Witness Kyasao get up off machine and give Dai look of utter bewilderment
6.) Witness Mo rolling on the floor laughing
7.) Witness Ryan look up from his game and wonder WTF is going on
8.) Witness Kyasao grin and give the thumbs up...what a guy!!

Erm just thought...working early on Saturday...looks like no sleep and walking zombie at work than...just like the old days when I worked at the nuclear saftey plant...

1 issue that I would have mentioned b4 making this post.

Ive only been there once b4 and just saw the place again today, it seemed very small, It also stinked a bit being a small bedsit an all. I did say it was empty and not worked on(no carpet, wallpaper etc) its a 'typical east london' bedsit, so you know what 2 expect? not very nice to look at or b inside.

Having said that, im not trying to put yous off, it's just about bearable. I wouldnt whant people 2 turn up and think i was takin the piss cause they thought its a shit hole. I need a second opinion on the matter, so does any one reckon they can come and check the place out and tell me what they think. Either way its still availiable 4 friday onwards. Cheers.
