NOTE: Marvel and Smash were not run on my laptop so I do not have the results for those games... so once I get that info from Scav and Morris I will update this post. Also, if people have info on which characters were used for the placers let me know and I will update. I usually try to keep track of at least the top 8 for each game but I was so worn out by the end of this that I didn't do it this time.

Thanks to Game Trade in Mesquite for being so genorous with the time/use of the space. And thanks to Fred Campbell and Papa John's for the pizza that they supplied. Props to all the people who came out... I hope you all had a good time... Props to myself for gettin my head mashed in in every tournament I entered....

Sounds like you had a pretty big event with great turnout thats awesome!

Anyway you could post the characters they VF5 players used in the tourney? Also, did you save any replays? I would love to see them.

 

Thanks for hosting the tourney - it was disorganized, but more fun than Evo South.

Highlight was definitely watching Mochi A beast everyone. A couple people managed to hit him in a few rounds /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif otherwise it was double excellents. Great movement, CD fuzzy guard all over the place.

I saved the winner's bracket final match between Mochi A and TNPR, but didn't have a usb drive around to snag it - asked I.C.E. if he can upload it.

I won my first game against 2d tony in losers, then flubbed a guaranteed combo for the win in the second /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif CHOKE. so demoralized I went 0-3 the next.

TNPR was owning everyone except Mochi A (myself included) with charged arrow punch B.S., shoulda remembered to leave inputs neutral after dodging, cause that shit tracked me every time.

 

good games everyone actually i was so tired because of the 5 hour drive plus i was playing tekken,sc and vf almost at the same time and really i got a headache and was playing defensive like /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif thanks to mochi-a for that beating he gave me because honestly i have never seen a sarah player that good period...

i think ill use sarah...or shun di...

anywayz i want to see that match from the best ownage ever...

 

Get Mochi-A to SoCal!! He'll have at least one competitor he'll have trouble dealing with in Yosokue.

 

Good shit to the T.O. staff (I.C.E, aznfrank). Alot of random shit went on, especially the Japanese player coming out of no where to own everyone who even dared played againts him. If it wasnt for him, my homeboy Jason would have took that shit.

Also, great to see out of towners (Tnpr and KoD) attend. Hopefully you guys can make it to the next event.
