TFT-ing with busted diagonals

    What are some good general combos I can do from TFT if I have shit diagonals? Thanks in advance.

    short dash, [2]+[P]+[K], [4]+[P][K], [6]+[K]+[G] works on a lot of characters, even though it's a lightweight combo.

    and of course you could always do [8]+[P]+[G]... /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

    I secretly believe the diagonal to be the most important direction in videogaming. Bust -a-Move? You need 'em. Robotron? Hell yeah & with both sticks even. Asteroids? Not really but it's space, so everything is diagonal. Furthermore, all of your favorites in fighting game history are suspiciously enamored with the diagonal. You need a diagonal to throw a fireball. Tiger Uppercut? Yup, there it is right there. Byakko's got TWO diagonals. So does Giant Swing. Lau's entire movelist is diagonal. Check out the directions on the joystick:

    [3] Here's one.
    [2] This isn't, but when it looks like this [2_] it means [3][3] or [1][1] or [3][2][3]/[1][2][1]. These diagonals are like bunnies!
    [1] See?
    [4] Apparently they needed a break.
    [7] YEAH! C'mon!
    [8] If you are using Jeffry, likely you will never get to use this direction without a little [3][3] here and there.
    [9] Used to flip out a kill people all the time.

    Dude...HALF of these are diagonal. Whew. I get all tingly just thinking about it.

    My stick's busted. /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif I haven't had time to seek a replacement because of school.

    I guess I could always stick with the canned [8][P]+[G] followup. That's still a solid 60 or so damage. I still like TFT, [8][P] pounce attack for shits and giggles.

    My stick's diagonals crapped out Sunday, so I've been making do while I shop for a new one. Screw it, I'll just use a pad in the meantime. [shudders]
