    I was going to ask Shin Blanka if I could try and do a side tourney like I did for Final Round, but Drift and Trykt assured me that they would do it instead, since they are NC natives.

    TFC is aware that I would like to run a VF side-tourney. They said they would get back to me about available space for side games. As soon as I have more information/confirmation, I will make an event thread on VFDC.

    TFC should be really good for KOF. THe local scene has more KOF players than Marvel players.

    That said, this whole PS4 paywall announcement- if I go to TFC, it's going to be my last tournament, I may just sell my PS3 after it and quit fighting games, seriously.

    KOF is pretty legit. It plays alot on the same strategies you use in VF (hit checking, frames, etc...). And to call it cartoony is to put it in the same category as BS like MvC...

    And that, sir, should be illegal....in my opinion...

    Ayo, KOF is legit. KOF is the closest thing to 2D VF -- it's really hardcore. I've been wanting to learn that, but to me, it was like taking on a new VF, so that was a little too hard for me when I was still getting used to FS.

    But now I'm trying to learn it for real, so I hope I can learn enough in time to play it at TFC along with VF

    KOF is legit. I'm learning that shit right now to help get more fluid with my hitbox and it's great practice. The buffer system is very lax, much more like VF. That game is like the 2D brother to VF. I'd love to see more KOF/VF double feature events actually. I feel like that would work better than SF/VF events.

    Heh, Kof being compared to VF. I wonder if the new Guilty Gear will hold up to that title as well. KoF is so gawdlike though.

    older KoF like 98 is more like VF.
