The Hydra begins to grow new heads!!!!!

So, is there anyone in florida still playing VF, or who is playing VF but missed out when we were all playing pretty hardcore.

Also, does anyone have a PS3 that is going to be playing VF5 in like 2 months.

I'm from a group in South Florida who didn't join vfdc until March last year, but we had been playing for a few years before joining. The site has given us a chance to meet a few more people in our area, which has really been great. If we had known that there was a group of such hardcore VF players as your Hydra back then, we definitely would have tried to meet up with you guys, but hey... better late than never. A while ago we also talked with stompoutloud about getting together, but those plans unfortunately never worked out.

We've got a PS3 and plan on getting VF5 the day it comes out, and we're probably going to be playing it a lot /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif Also, stompoutloud had said that he'll be the first one down here once VF5 comes out. Maybe if you get ahold of him you can join him? It would be really great if you could!!

Cool, whats the word on getting PS2 controllers working with PS3

 

This is all I got.

Doesn't seem like trying to use PS2 controllers/sticks is going to work at the moment. I'd just like to say though, I haven't had any problems with the PS3 controllers yet.

lol no I don't, but I do plan on getting one once VF5 comes out. When I said that it's "all I got", I meant information-wise ^^;

Good to see you alive and well. I hope you can join Ladon[/size] and help bring the old players to the Florida scene. Every once in a while someone mentions the Texas event from a few years ago and I always think "yah, that's where I met the Florida players. Damn, that was awesome."

We're so lucky to have DRE[/size] out here in SoCal. Man, fuck it, just move out here - all of you! You can come to events like this without having to buy plane tickets.

I was just checking here to send you a PM when I found that you had responded to Plague. I thought you hadn't responded, it's a shock to see that I missed your post from so long ago, sorry!

I know it's a little late for you regardless, but as you can imagine we're not planning anything this weekend. Next weekend we may meet up for some VF:evo and TekkenR, but that's only if I manage to get DR on the PS3. If you find that you can make it down on a certain weekend, let me know and I'll try to set something up. There proabably won't be a lot of us, but once VF5 comes out we'll definitely have more people at each gathering.

Let me know what you plan to do, and I apologize again for not seeing that you were talking to us in time. Oh, and clear out your PM's if you could, I tried sending this to you over PM but you're overlimit P:

VF5 ANNOUNCEMENT!

ANNOUNCEMENT!!

There will be a VF5 party on Saturday the 24th and Sunday the 25th, hosted by GarciaINCIDENT! We're going to have at least 2 VF5 setups running, so we want everyone in the South Florida area who's into VF to come on and check it out!

Also coming down for the weekend is stompoutloud, a veteran player from Central Florida who has played people from all over the country!
