1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

    hi hi,

Haunts and I are putting together a podcast for http://www.iplaywinner.com and wanted to get some questions from people in the VF community and see what happens. The format is pretty loose for now but a lot of it will try to focus on whats going on in different scenes all over the world - see how strategies vary from region to region, things like that.

I will be the first guest on the show, and as you probably know I live in Japan and play VF on a near daily basis, as well as SF4 and most recently KOFXII. If you have any questions about Japanese arcades and/or culture we can try to fit that in there as well.

First show we'll probably touch on the Sf4 Nationals that went down over the weekend as well so if you have some questions about that event too, fire away.

We hope to get the first episode out fairly soon!

Once again, really good stuff, I've learned a few things here. I'm definitely more interested in SF4 now, seeing as there's finally some local money tourneys going on.

P.S. If anyone needs VF5 lessons (WHY!? NOW!?) I charge an extra-low fee of $75/hr. [IMG]

Fine. Goodluck. I didn't get as much effective feedback as i would have liked. I reached out to lots of people and asked for contributions at large via questions and such, but very few contributed. ***fixed*** sorry if i offended those who did participate.

Ahh. But the burden to entertain is on you if you're making the show. Same goes for anyone trying to do podcast. There's only so much community input available. The goal is to make magic out of your own thoughts and put them down in ways people can relate.

As far as comments and suggestions go, my experience when I do events goes like this: I find that if I'm doing something right, it's hard to get ANY feedback until the event is ended. It's not that people don't care - they're just having an awesome time and are free to concentrate on themselves. If I'm doing something people don't like, they're more apt to say something. It's likely similar for podcasting.

Just remember if your material is consistently good, listenership will expand and your bandwidth costs go up. Then you know you've made it. [IMG]
