I pray its good. We don't need any more bad video game movies. Charlies Angels: Dead or Alive is gonna set the video game to movie industry back like 15 years. We'll need a rocket to get back up to Super Mario Brothers once that releases.

Yeah, if you compare it to the street fighter animated movies, but alone it was average, a little mediocore

On another note I rather liked the Fatal Fury animated movie. They definately managed to do something different, if a tad contrived. Mai is particularly bouncy in that one... -_-'

btw. Tekken and Spriggan are often cited as the worst anime movies out there. Now I haven't seen either, just relaying what I taste on various anime forums...

At least this Tekken flick will be based in Japan instead of America judging from that poster. That might just make it worthwhile.

There's also Final Fantasy: Advent Children, which really was an exercise in cosplay with a tacked on plot-line-esque something. Though I've heard FF fans raving about how great and deep it all was, I deem it only a visual spectacle with some people dressed in a lot of rubber here and there. (Especially some of the Bahamut shots were bad...)

Ah well... Neither DOA nor Tekken will probably be launched in any big way in the West so the impact will probably be kept to the game and movie fans. Like the BloodRayne flick it will die out like a flickering candle.

ps. There's also a third Mortal Kombat movie coming at the end of the year.

I fixed your post for you! Also, Charlie's Angels was a television show prior to being a movie.

movies based on video games are usually crap.
I hope It will not be the same with tekken... In my opinion Mortal Kombat is the best example in transposition.
I hope to see great fighting sequences with a good storyboard.
Jackie Chan would be a great Lei Wulong,
and Jet LI Feng Wei (except for muscles)... For the others choose, it's up to you. (maybe for Nina Pamela Anderson...).
    What do ya think guys????????????

Oh man, what a disappointment... it is somethin' like a C movie... Link is not a guy, but an adult with a blonde wig. And where are the monsters? Definitely crap.
