The Official US Evolution Site is Up.....

...and it is actually pretty good, all should take a look.

Uh, this pretty much shows how lazy Sega USA is. It is the VF4 site except that they added Goh and Brad to the character bios and changed the info regarding gameplay modes. The character selects from VF4 are still the same, the MUSIC is still the same, hell they still list the old ring data and that Vanessa uses Muy Thai.

Stupid, freaking lazy Sega USA.

 

Nice that they don't bother to update it for us English even though we got the game a while back!

 

they do list 5 items for each character and how to get them

What do you think that VF4 is to Evolution, why not just make the site the same with a couple of changes...... /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif?

That's your opinion. But to me, you're starting to sound like the fools at EGM (read the July issues preview on VFEvo).

To me, VF4 to VFEvo is like SF2Turbo to SSF2. Though they aren't labeled as true sequels, they have more than enough changes and enhancements to make them much more than just an update or an extension.

And besides, if Sega makes a new site for the Japanese release, and cut and pastes for the U.S site, that's laziness when it comes to dealing with us in my book.

 

I like the explanations and stuff for the new game modes, but they should really include the new music, which is much better than the old music.

Honestly Sega probably didn't get that many hits on the last website, so it'll be new to 90% of the people looking at it. It's lazy but not irresponsibly lazy... IMO.

I'm just happy it's 20 bucks...

Yeah, I guess you're right. The more I look at the site, the more I accept it. But I agree; it really does need the new evo music.

By the way, they still aren't going to fix the mem-card issue, aren't they?

 

They are going to give us the 10th ann. thing instead of resolving the memory card issue, but I doubt they would have fixed it anyways.....

I am puzzled as why Sega has the old VF4 music on the site, that is most likely laziness /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
