The Official VF BATTLEFIELD Bad Company 2 Thread

So, DICE's class-based shooter is almost hitting the stores. I thought we might, as well, take the time to ramp up our Bad Company 2 skills.

What follows is a great BC2 educational video titled "How Not to be a Noob at Battlefield Bad Company 2."

Wow! Just wow!

The graphics make MW2's graphics look bad.

It looks like they took a lot of the good stuff from the MW series and brought the realism to another level entirely. Like that aerial view with the red boxes highlighting the enemy looks A LOT like the view from MW2 when you're in the AC130 or when the Predator is coming.

The guns look sick too!

Definitely gotta get this day 1.

 

I pre-ordered my copy, can't wait to play!

It's a heavy game though, need to get my upgrades before it comes out.

 

Hmmm the player models look really chunky in this, they move like they're from a video game circa 2001.

 

count me in for PC version. (i might double dip with xbox version..)

I dunno but now that the BC2 demo can't be played anymore, I somehow lost track of BC2...

I checked my Amazon order and it left my local UPS warehouse early this morning for delivery. Should be here by the time I get out of work!

I'm looking forward to playing and I'm also looking forward to NOT having to play on Derail or Quarry any time soon .

Ok, BFBC2 has been delivered and is waiting for me right after work!

edit: the server browser is fuck-awful. takes a goddamn year to refresh and doesn't connect 90% of the time. What the fuck?

yeah server browser took a year to refresh on the beta as well, guess they haven't fixed that (even to load your favorites! wth). the no connecting thing i totally understand, cause the JUST came out and everyone is on it. im sure at least this will get fixed.

ps. this game looks soooo much better on pc than the consoles (AA, high texture details and other stuff...and oh yeah, 60fps+, compared to like 24 / 30 on console)
