I know about the timing and frames of moves and certain techniques but you think VF5 EVo maybe have online play. I dont really care for online play but namco decided to make the games online. Like tekken 6, namco explicitly said that they wont be online play for tekken 6 yet now there a high chance of tekken 6 being online now that tekken 5 DR and SC4 is online.

DO you think VF follow suit? I am leaning toward the yes side in the future as online seems to be in dominance these days :(. As sales of VF rise pretty big with online i sense money will talk. (Not that i really want it) I sense that ppl will say it cant be online and be introduce probably online in future. Probably sucked to play it online tho. eck SC4 online gonna be a mess with parry lag and such.

none of us really know how playable it will be online. we are only going by what someone else told us. i remember hearing people say doa4 lags so much and its not playable but those were the people with bad connections or people that plaed people with bad connections. now i know you can't compare the 2 games as there systems are worlds apart but they need to give online play a second opininon by putting it online and letting the community decide what is best for them. some people will like it while others will hate it but i don't see a reason not to try it out especially if making this move will increase sales in the U.S. Unless Sega doesn't like money then they can keep it offline with no updates.
but i think sega will follow suit on the whole online gaming option because they don't want there fighter to be left behind. with doa4, tekken dr, and soulcalibur 4 all confirmed to have online it will really put pressure on sega to step up and do the same or otherwise fall behind in sales and popularity, at least in the states.

i dont know if VF5 for 360 will be online but maybe the next VF game will have online play. you have to see that DOA4 was built with online play in mind. VF5 on the other hand isnt built for online play.

i guess well just have to wait and see what sega does in the near future. if sega decides to add online play to VF5 it better be done right. the other thing is if sega is planning to make VF5 online they shouldve been working on it from the beginning.
