To the veterans of VF4, tell me...

I skipped vf3/vf3tb altogether. I just got vf4 last week. Can someone tell me IN DETAIL what the heck all that options you have in vf4 are for? Such as when you load up Training ---> Command, you have a choice of loading GAME DISC or MEMORY CARD...what's that mean? You can create your own command trainings? And this frustrates me...this is the first game to not be able to turn off time limit...but I don't think so...there has to be a way.

And items? Doesn't that make the game..."Accelerat-ish"? Remember those modified Street Fighter 2 arcades where fireballs travel super slow or fast and ryu was blank's alter-ego? hahaha crazy. And sf alpha 3 was ruined......it becomes soooo unbalanced with 5 second level three EX cancel, FEi Long killer combos with modified items/learnt skills /versus/images/icons/tongue.gif. Any info/comments?

Read the instruction manual...

Command ---> Memory Card and Game Disc is the characters you create. Memory Card is your characters, and Game Disc are the characters that come with the game so you dont have to make one to use in Training.

Just read the instruction manual! Thats why they come with the game!

Items are cosmetic in nature and do not alter gameplay...check out the items FAQ on the kumite board (directly above this thread as I write) for a breakdown of the items & the way to get (most of) them if you haven't already.
