Its out (since 7/18/2012)on XBLAand out Q3 for PS3!!

Half original TH 1/2 music, half new music, classic levels and a few classic modes like Graffiti!!!!

I haven't played it but from what I heard:
Cons - no offline multiplayer, no create a park/skater, missing some classic Skater, no Spider-Man.

Either way, I loved the original games and will get it once it is out on PSN.

WHY WHY WHY would they make a THPS after 2 with no "Create-A" feature?!! Its like taking 7 steps back to THPS1, don't know If I'll spend my money on this, rather bust out my copy of THPS3

I have agree with your first part, and I could do the same but playing online with friends could be fun.

I heard about DLC that'll add THPS3 levels (didn't hear about music, but it'd be safe to assume).

This game is rough. You can't turn off the auto-180. I dunno if its worth it yet.

my beef is that it isn't just an HD-ified version of THPS. It looks like the most recent (not peripheral bs) Tony Hawk video game, with nostalgia slapped over it. I really didn't expect any better from Activision.

The choice of songs used from the original games has won me back! It's the gameplay and controls that's keeping me from purchasing this!

    shame! [IMG]

I was HIGHLY looking forward to THPS HD, but I heard it's straight ass, so much stuff is off, and it's a hybrid mish-mash fail instead of a HD port. Some people say the nostalgia factor isn't even there either. I'd much rather cop another dreamcast and first Hawk game for epic throwback moments.

Oh well, glad it released on XBL before PSN or I surely would've bought it. I still might though since my love runs deep. But in the meantime, SSX 2012 and Skate 3 provide my fixes. Forgot about those since FS dropped lol.

I'll be honest, at first when I heard about it, it sounded like a good idea, but the lack of local multiplayer and overall lag (even local) I don't think I'll get it any time soon. If it gets patched then maybe but til then I still have 1/2 on Dreamcast and 3 on PS1.

THPS1 and 2 probably weren't the games you remember guys, that THPS3 is where it's at. This HD rehash isn't bad though, was fun doing everything again on the old stages.

My only gripe is that Downhill Jam made it in there [IMG]

...oh and what's with the music, all that pop/punk shizz and no Primus :sigh emoticon:
