Trying to get a new joystick

My hori finally broke and I don't want a joystick thats going to break in a year. any suggestion?

I was thinking these but I don't trust hori or madcatz

by hori i assume you mean ex-2? those were kinda meh sticks from the get go.

hrap's are a thousand times better. i just got an hrap 2 sanwa not too long ago and it's fucking great, i just need to throw in a 360 pcb.


as for the te's, don't be fooled by the madcatz name- those are really good sticks. the stick and buttons are all sanwa and the base is thinner than an hrap but just as firm.

you really can't go wrong either way, though i'd recommend the TE based on the fact that it comes with sanwa's from the factory as opposed to the hrap 360 which you'd have to install the sanwas into (not all that hard, but more money and a slight hassle).

 

Both of those sticks are great, though you might want to replace the stick/buttons on the HRAP depending on your taste in sticks and buttons.

Might I recommend Arcade-in-a-Box? It is a bit more expensive, but by far the best stick I've ever owned. Lots of options and the ability to customize the face. You can also get these to work on multiple systems.

 

correct and thank you two for the advise. I will keep that in mind. I'm just worried about them breaking after a year. I'm kind of a joystick noob and Its hard for me to fix joysticks plus the fact that I will be dropping 150 bones on.

But if its a good investment then I might consider it.
