seeing as this is my first election vote, i might go with lib dems. Labour are twats and conservatives have a long rap sheet including the income tax riots fiasco, WHICH they want to bring back.

Lib dems are the way to go people. What are your views on this?

I'm swaying towards the Lib Dems as well. Labour have 'gone up their own arse' IMHO. Obviously tories are a big no no IMHO. So Lib Dem's it is.

I've had enough with labour. Conservatives were pretty good when Thatcha had the ball in her court, John Major kinda let it slip a few good times after tho. The cons also seem to be saying stuff they can't prove yet and Howard looks like a dick anyway, just like Bush looks like a bigger dick.

Heck I might go for the Libs cos I like the color yellow and I want a change from the normal 2 we've had.

actually its the Lib Dems that want to bring back income taxes

and the consevatives blaytantly want to get rid of council taxes to win the election!!!

if anything labour hav been tory in disguse for years!

they are as bad as each other, but sooo much better then those loosers at the lib dems!

did you see that jeramey paxman interview on bbc 2days ago??? he raped that pink faced pussy on live TV!!!!! haha

We'll I'm totally wanked-off with the three main parties, so I'll be voting Scottish National Party for several reasons:

    1. Labour are useless cunts.
    2. The Conservatives are anti-European racist cunts.
    3. Charles Kennedy is a lazy cunt.

and last but by no means least...

    4. I agree with the principle of Scotland and England being equal independent nations with their own political voices and parliments.

It's not fair that England subs Scottish tax payers an extra 20% per head because we're a rural economy.

It's also not fair that Scotland sends over £5 billion per year in oil revenues south of the border to be squandered by the exchequer.

LOL....well despite England's 50 million population against Scotland's 5 million, we'd probably still win because of the simple fact that all of the UK's nuclear capacity (Trident based) is dumped in Scotland.

It amuses me that people always equate independence with conflict. Between the battle of Bannockburn in 1314 and the act of union in 1707, Scotland and England co-existed as independent nations for - what's that? - 393 years.

The act of union itself was incredibly unpopulor with the Scots and English people at the time as was forced through by a minority of wealthy aristocrats who bribed both parliments.

In a modern world, where old fashioned shipping and trading routes count for nothing, union no longer makes sense for Scotland and England.

I'm not a labour voter, nor will I ever be probably...but it's pretty obvious that they are going to win the election. The only thing worth talking about really is how big their majority will be this time, and whether tony will do the decent thing and step aside for happy gordon.

if labour get a large majority again, they can pretty much push through whatever bullshit bill they come up with...ID cards et al...if their majority is cut, then it'll be interesting, because new labour have always had their own way as far as commons voting is concerned...a more balanced house of commons would really harm labour i think.

So...even if labour win...they might lose long term.

    politics...bag of shite.

Ok, replying to a post about politics at 2.30am in the morning after just arriving home from the pub is a bad idea, but what the hell.

About new Labour, I just wanted to say that generally speaking I support Labour’s fundamental left of centre ideology. The reason I think they’ve fucked up so much is simple.....

When presented with Serious_Problem_A, the new Labour solution is to:

    1. Create 50 public sector jobs to form a committee to investigate the impact of Serious_problem_A.

    2. Hire 50 more public sector workers to investigate the committee created to investigate the impact of Serious_problem_A.

    3. Created 50 more public sectors jobs to form an Action committee to decide on action to be taken in light of the findings of the committee created to investigate the committee looking into the impact of Serious_problem_A.

    4. Net results…….fuck all gets done and the tax payer has to pay for the employment of 150 useless public sector gimps.

The Tories definitely have a point about fat government and hard working tax payer's money being pissed down the gutter……it’s just a pity most conservatives are racist wankers and Michael Howard’s a scary bespectacled pederast.

And a twat. He's the sitting lib dem mp just west of Inverness. I saw him yesterday with his cronies driving about in a convertible shouting nonsense from a megaphone. I would've given his ginder head a good slap as I drove past, but alas, I couldn't reach.

Howard is a far worse proposition though. He reminds me allot of President Bush..."I'll do what's best for Britain"...even if that means pulling out of the geneva convention on asylum. The only reson UK has vast numbers of incomers is because its economically buoyant at the moment . Wait till the economy crashes and you'll see a mass exodous.

I say get Scotland independent, sign us up to the Euro, enter into an era of more democratic foward thinking politics, and leave the English to wallow in their class-conscious anti-european malaise.

Hey did you guys hear, in NY today there was a bombing near the British consulate. Some think it's to protest against another Tony Blair re-election and others think it's just a coincidence. What do you guys think.

Personally I wouldn't be surprised if something like this happened since Blair is like Bush's personal go-to guy for everything right after the Saudi prince of course.

I voted Conservative, and even though they didn't get in, I'm pleased with the results.

    Hello by the way
