I personally think the reviewer is awesome.

 

He should have mentioned the hideous saving system though. That is a major disappointment. /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

 

For the record that Xbox Live pop up ad was the single most annoying thing I've experienced. I even have Earthlink's pop up blocker and it got past that. /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Now to read the review.

Ok UK-guy it was good save for the mention of the save system, and the frickin ad.

good show. I personally think that the Flash Xbox flickering head advertisement on the page has got to be one of the most irritating and annoying things ever. Take that off the site, please. Ugh.

heh while I'm glad it got well-deserved high marks, I think calling it unbiased is sort of a stretch /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif (the mem card thing is a good point).

Still, the more official-looking review sites give it high marks, the better chance there is people will clamor for it here, and that's a good thing.

Sort of a by-the-way -

The captured fights are pretty entertaining, but there's some weird choppiness at the beginning for them. Maybe it's strictly on my end.
Is that your kage uk-guy? If so, neat /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Scamming the am.sega movies though and just re-presenting them at a lower bitrate? Kind of ass, in an IGN sort of way ^^ You're mixing original content with stuff that isn't your own ...I know, it says am.sega in the corner, but for all anyone knows that's just there because sega made the game, not the movie.

I'm a freelance journo, Kikizo contacted me to do an import look-in which I knocked thogether with screenshots and a couple fo movies, yep that's my Kage messing around. I got an Jap copy of the game and a VF stick a day before the Jap release (cool importers!) for my trouble, that's a good deal in my book. Plus at least we have a decent review by someone who plays the game, no? I'll be looking at all 3 versions of Soul Calibur soon, I'm looking forward to it!

I know the guy responsible for Kikizo and although I may disagree with some things I think him and the team are doing a good job. Some stuff is good, some not so, but hey thats life, right? I've let them know my thoughts on some issues, y'all do the same, I hope it becomes a worthwhile site, it's certainly on the way there.
