On Combo 8 through 12 I can get the net hit to connect, even on a counter hit. Do those only work with certain characters?

At 0:55 vanessa uses combo 8 on Goh in close stance so I guess it should work against most of the middleweights in the same situation.
You may have to slightly delay the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif a little in order to make combo to work.

 

Combo 20 is correct as originally written, if you hit the midkick in the back so they crumble you score a free low back throw.

This one works fine for me, be nice to put the damage on these combos. I might go through them later if a mod can update the OP?

 

Kurita usually places high with Vanessa, so find some of his vids.

 

It seems like Vanessa is very stance orientated (open/closed) when it comes to combos? Eg, the last hit of her dbP+K, f+PKK seems to miss when in open stance.

I'm currently trying to find her best non stance dependent combos. The best follow up for f+P+K (OS) I can find is d+P, ff+P which is must less than her other stance dependent combos from f+P+K(OS). Anyone know any more?

Another of her combos from that move is listed as d+P, PK but the while rising P always comes out. Is it suppose to be followed by her standing PK and how do I get it to come out? Thanks.

Why posting this? When I mentioned “crazy amount of time†obviously I was referring to testing stance requirements, not writing combos… I didn’t even mention about writing the combos so I don’t know how you could understand it that way…

Apart from the fact that you didn’t get my point and get confused between A and B, what’s even more paradoxical is that if it’s so fast doing B why asking for other to do it for you? Since apparently you have access to black book info. You actually did it to prove someone was wrong instead of doing it for sharing info.

Unless you can translate Japanese, and thus understanding the notes on black book (which I can’t), you have to test stance requirement yourself. It requires testing each combos both stance for each character sometimes with different timings to be sure “combo X doesn’t work on char A†blah blah, it sure takes more than “26 minutes†and that was what was asked in the first place isn’t it ?

Well anyway good post, and sorry for the delay have been working on Lion's Combos recently and put Vane aside for a moment. For /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif actually the note is "guard stagger" wich means you have to hit your opponent out of crouch guard with /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif to make those work.
For OM K it says it's mC or above and it's side crumple, for back crumple --> low throw.
