wish i could join you guys for a session, although it's very expensive to get to edinburgh, train will cost £97 or by plane is £78. hmmm.... cheaper by plane, strange... 20 years ago it would of been the opposite.

Ah trains between edinburgh and london will forever be associated with vf in my head now I think.

I just count my blessings that I have at least a few people around me playing vf.

you know because of my flatmates that has double entendre properties...I'm wondering if you did that deliberately though...i'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

Also, yuukun, if you book well enough in advance you can buy 2 singles, 1 to edinburgh, 1 back to london, for £12.50 each. It'd need to be a good 3/4 weeks in advance though. We're fucking shit hot at VF5 though, so it'd be well worth it. Sometimes I even have the audacity to dominate a session for a couple of rounds.

Tonight I really struggled, maybe it was just in my head, when you told me how many matches I'd won I was pleasantly surprised. Going to work on inputs in practice I think this week, the stick is really quite marginal on registering multiple button presses, particularly K+G. It really irked me though, I ended up just going for the same 'safe' moves all the time to try and compensate for it.

Awesome games last night. Sorry you were struggling so much. Total opposite for me compared to lat night. Really felt like I hit my stride with Kage's new stance.

That disc is fine, I watched fifteen minutes of it last night, I'll watch bit by bit of it when I have time.

Also, I somehow managed to have curry sauce all over my jeans as well, which I hadn't noticed til I got home. I think I should probably stick to liquids in future /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

Should I order the HG stick from play-asia now, depite it's displayed as out of stock goods on the website, or should I wait until they restock them? I will bloody hate myself if the sticks are sold out before I can take any action /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

 

Are you sure it's the HG you want? Might be worth waiting a week and trying mines out once it's here. You might not think it's worth the extra cash since you'll only ever really use it in single player.

I for one would definitely order a new stick, I'm really labouring with the fs3, I was practising earlier and i'm having trouble with quick changes of stance. Though if i'm being fair, I had similar problems playing evo with the ps2 sticks. It just didn't seem so pronounced, nor did it really affect how I played.

what do you use to split the files? I need to get something, the imovie software doesn't like the size of the file from the first recording. There was one match on it that I thought was uploading, around the 23 minute mark. A 5 rounder between lei and kage, the last round is a bit poor though, which almost negates the first 4 rounds which seem high quality.

I didn't actually like this one much at all the pace is seems awfully slow. Like neither of us is really putting enough effort into it.

I use nerovision simply because it's what I have on this comp. God knows what you'd use on a mac.

There's gonna be plenty vids since we're capping about three hours of footage a session. I have about 4 1/2 hours of mpeg to flick through right now. There's still a lot of rustiness on show though so it's kind of painful watching :|
