VF inspires basketball game

    From IGN's preview of NBA 2K4:
    "One-on-one match-ups are said to be "inspired by Virtua Fighter." My only hope is that it doesn't play like Shaq-Fu. My best guess would be that, like Midway's NBA Ballers, there's a combo system used to perform special dekes, dunks, and defensive tricks. Whatever the case may be, it's clear NBA 2K4 will play very differently from its previous iterations. "

    I don't think that the combo system would be added but I think it's VFs logic in guessing games that would be incorporated. It's weird that a fighting game inspires a b-ball game.
