VF merchandise?

meh, is there any place on the web you'd recommend for picking up leik VF t-shirts, or jackets or anything VF? or even games in general? all i really know is lik-sang, but they don't have much variety (or VF) i'm really terrible at finding stuff.. /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

A board member here, 0034, makes his own T shirts. But it's not T shirts, it's D shirts. The first one isn't VF related, but let the page load and scroll through, you'll find a few.

I like the "poke it!" shirt.

 

There are US-made VF4 action figures, too, but the less said about those, the better. Even the JP ones aren't that hot.

The SD keychains they had in prize machines here, though... ADORABLE. I have a set I am never giving up.

Official VF clothing has indeed been made. A famous cosplay shop (COSPA, I think) put out authentic replications of the Jacky VF2 and VF3 jackets, and Lion's VF3 sport shirt. A few shirts with Goh's "Judgement 6" logo on it have been given away as prizes through JP game publications. Sega themselves also sold a replica of the VF4 Jacky jacket at one point. At about $450, though, it was really intended for either serious collectors or cosplayers (probably the latter).

 

I've seen the authentic Lion VF3 shrinkwrap shirt, it's hot =D
The jacky jacket was on yahoo.jp auctions or ebay or something once. It was unholy expensive.

I think simply silkscreening the character select portraits on there would look great. (copyrightastic!) An old regular, Yupasawa, had that done with Sarah and Dural.

EDIT: i've also seen jacky's VF3 1P jacket on NoMercy's site among some other stuff (also lion's t-shirt) a while back. not sure if it was for sale or just show off items ^^

Shroud has both the jacky Jacket and the Shrink Wrap shirt. They nice! He's not into cosplay just collecting. One day though, we'll break into them pound back a few and then pick fights in an arcade. ....someday.

Wow, those VF action figures look extremely crappy.
I love action figures, but I'd never ever buy those horrible things.

If only McFarlane Toys would start making VF figures, it'd be sooooo cool. ALL the McFarlane figures looks so realistic and the sheer amount of detail given to each character is mind-boggling!
Just look at the action figures they made for the MGS2 series - especially Solid Snake.
