VF/VF2 presence in High Score Girl anime

    Hello all!

    I haven't been around (nor played VF, sadly) in ages, but my brother made me watch this rather peculiar anime called High Score Girl in the last month. It's really geeky and uncompromising in the way it shows arcade games (mostly beat em ups) from the 90s, the story is some kind of a re-ash of Kimagure Orange Road (i.e. slightly inept guy who sort of fancies one unattainable and introverted girl and is fancied by another, more extroverted one) but with Japanese arcades.
