VF1 music sounds like Howard Jones?

If you didn't grow up in the 80s, you probably won't know what I'm talking about here.

One of the VF1 stages (Wolf's I think, not sure) has a theme that sounds a lot like a Howard Jones song from the 80's. You know, the one that goes:

I wanna get to know you well,
I wanna get to know you well,
I wanna get to know you well,
so we can be one,
we can be one,
together

It's so close, it almost sounds like an exact copy. Just a thought....

 

I doubt it has anything to do with the song but you are right about the similarity. I never noticed it until I had the saturn version but after listening to it I used to sing the first few bars of that song everytime the VF music started.

I know this is off topic, but I myself enjoyed Pai and Akira's themes. They both had really good break segments.

Back in the 80's you couldn't get away from it, so it's still engraved in my brain.....

 

If I recall correctly, there are indeed vocal versions of some of the VF1 tracks, sung by Takenobu â€Ânamuuuuu!" Mistuyoshi himself. There's one VF CD I am missing, that might be the one that has them...

 

Mitsuyoshi FTW. Fuck the new music. I liked the original VF4's music though.

VF 1 music is ok to me, it's not that good.
