VF2 BGM in Evo

I noticed this in one of my matches in NYC. It was Wolf's arena stage and in the background you heard Lau's VF2 bgm. Anyone else come across this or any other bgms?

 

Yet another way Virtua Fighter copies Tekken. In Tekken 4's statue stage, it plays a random Tekken 2 BGM track.

 

Not really. I didn't say that it always played. Just once and never again unlike the stage in Tekken 4 which plays a different Tekken 2 bgm everytime.

ROFL. And sorry to disappoint you, but TK2 had TK1 tunes in it as well.

 

So... Tekken copied VF from the very beginning, right?

In VF4, I think the requirement is both players choose VF1 model
Don't know what's the requirement for EVO

 

i'm not dissapointed. vf2 came out months before tk2; november 1994 and summer 1995, respectively.

 

I wasn't disappointed at all either, by the way.

 

I just noticed this today too. My opponent picked Kage and his VF1 BGM was playing. We couldn't replicate this at all.

 

Yeah? Unfortunately it won't be for a while until i can check conditions. Hhmm, so VF1 tunes as well...
