VF4 EVO in South Carolina

Frankies Fun Park in Greenville, SC just got Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution! I played last night for a few hours and here's some info about the machine...
- 1 pl stick is awesome... 2 pl stick is a little loose... almost like playing VF w/ a tekken stick
- sound is turned up
- best out of 3 rounds
- 50c per play

Hey if theres anybody near Greenville PM me and we'll get together for some games! I really want to see if they'll allow a tournament there but I dont know if Frankies does that or not... if not then we could hold our own if we keep in quiet... but I'm really interested in doing this... maybe a VF4 Evo / Tekken 4 / SC 2 combo tourney or something.... anyways please post! we gotta keep EVO in SC!!!! LATA!

Unfortunately I don't think Evo will last. I was there for a few hours today and nobody touched evo or the regular machine....

 

.... Which is what happened to the machine here as well /versus/images/icons/smile.gif. Simply not many, if any, people were playing. Is it a full version or a test one?

 

I believe its a full version... but ya theres not much competition in Greenville thats why I'm posting to get more people to play... there was some competition this weekend but not much... but I dont think they'll get rid of the machine because they had VF4 forever and NOBODY ever played that (the WORST sticks EVER) and its STILL there... so I'm not worried about losing EVO but I'm down for some competition whenever you can get down here from Charlotte... LATA!!!

it's a lot closer than any other machines I've had a chance to play, so I might come visit and play. I'll bring a buddy if possible.

 

i played last night and the night before... not too much competition... but i'm preferring brad over goh... just because i like his sways, he's a lil quicker, and his combos are flashier... anyways just keeping this post alive! hehe btw come on down if you want to play! just PM me or something when you want to come!

 

if we can get ppl from charlotte/creed and ppl/and knoxville to come along with greenville players we'll have quite a crowd one weekend... the problem is scheduling it... if anyone has any ideas or wants to help me plan this give me a PM and we'll figure something out... aight lata!!!!
