VF4 machine at Mall of America

Yep you heard right ladies and gents, theres a mint condition VF4 machine at the Mall of America in MN!!! A few months ago i noticed at the vffx site it said there was one in a sports bar, well i looked there and at every other arcade and there wasn't, but just this weekend i decided to check again and there was one in an arcade on the 4th floor (i forget what its called, just had a big neon green arcade sign). When i first saw it I almost broke down in tears of joy, as I have been searching so long for an arcade VF machine! It cost 66 cents to play (3 tokens per dollar ),but i hope any MN players that read this will go and check it out, I plan on going there at least once a week. I'm sure its version B, but how can I check? Well, now I must go, as my joystick ability needs some SERIOUS work!

 

Aye, we few diehards who constitute the "Minnesota Crew" worked long and hard at getting that VF4 machine up there at the Mega Mall. It's been there since last December if memory serves and we played there for a while until Ver. B became obsolete. Though we haven't been back there for quite some time I'm sure our winning streaks are still saved to the machine. I'm the Lion with 40+ wins, Jesse is either the Jacky or the Shun with 40+ wins, I can't remember. The Minnesota crew really consists of the same people who played during the long ago Minnesota tourney for VF3: myself, I'm Sam ( Lion), Jesse (Shun, Jeffry), Boyd (Jacky, Wolf & now Pai), & Alexei (Akira, Lau). There are more VFers around but I'm assuming that we 4 play the most often. It's too bad that our arcade at Ridgedale went out of business. Otherwise I'm sure that there would be more Minnesota events. Oh well, we still play....

I live in Minnesota about 3 or so hours away from the cities but doubt on goin there any time soon. /versus/images/icons/smirk.gif
