VF4PS2 Command Training bug ? LeiFei <halp> !

alrighty..I am working through the guided commands for LeiFei and I get up to Koushu Shoutai Opponent Behind, and the cpu draws me with Jerky behind me, and the command is a simple K+G. well, it will not take it. I cannot get past this command. WTF ?


is it a bug ? I have no problems with other characters and my K+G is accurate and works. but damn if I can figure this.....any help appreciated. Thanks

It really isn't K+G, it is K1FG. I was using the R2 K+G and it refuses, but I screwed around with my two fingers K and G and watched the frames....it needs at least 1 frame apart.

....R2 button: it also works if you buffer it...

 

It says it's not a buffered move but if you press it as soon as you turn around it will work.

 

There are some moves in VF4 that are different than the command tells you. (Jacky has a kick that's supposed to be -, but it's actutally -)

Lei's reverse stance kick can be done by just holding and pressing . It'll push your enemy back, much like +.

Note: If you happen to be in reverse stance with your enemy by the wall, use this kick - they'll keep bouncing and it'll keep hitting up to 85 damage.
