vf5 on xbox 360

is this about the xbox 360 tag? Has it been announced yet by sega? What does Game Trailers know anyways?

Sega will stick with Sony and playstation.

I hope it goes on both systems. VF must grow! Then all we need is a multi-adapter controller via SF style.

 

The way i see it...

Japanese people are not interested in the 360, they all have Nintendos and Playstations already, they are loyal costumers to them compagnies.

So the majority who play VF are Japanese. VF5 on PS3 is prolly gonna happen like VF4 did before.

That's exactly what i thought.


Otherways, there are some players who would also buy a 360. See for example the korean DoA players.

 

The question is, while making the console version, does Sega care all that much about focusing on the japanese market? The main market by far there is the arcades.

 

Sorry, I just don't see VF:5 released on 360. PS3 seems more logical.

 

I see vf5 on 360 as a strong shot. Months ago there were whispers of a vf game on the console (I thought at that time ft for launch or just after) and Microsoft did a lot of work catering to and courting the Japanese market especially with regards to the overall design of the console (sorry. no link. google if you want, I read it in time or newsweek)...at the very least it looks like they made this one a little purtier. Sega also has plenty of titles on the console and though 3 vf games have come out for the ps2, it isn't as if Sega and Sony have the same history as Sony and Namco. Finally, it's odd to me that people want vf5 for ps3 which 1) isn't at market 2) keeps getting pushed back 3)supposedly gonna be damned expensive but consoles seldom are. Guys...vf5 for 360 means vf5 soon. And the only possible problem with that is getting a game which hasn't had sufficient arcade testing...I wonder if you'll be able to download patches? /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

 

The only way VF5 would be on 360 would be if Microsft pays huge bank to get sega on board to get the 360 more popular in Japan.

I strongly doubt that VF5 would be ready for console release before the PS3 is out.

 

i dont want VF5 soon, I want it to have a nice long life in the arcades in japan, why you ask? tuning the game folks, more tuning. you know VF games take a couple of version before it becomes a "perfectly" balanced game. sure it woud be nice to have the game as soon as possible but we'll just have to be patient even more in the USA, i'd rather have the balance over the speed of the conversion to console.

ps. if VF5 comes to xbox360 ill chew my own nuts. ps3 makes sence, any person that thinks is gonna appear on 360 is daaam wrong, just look how well 360 is doing in japan..nuuff said. oh yeah, VF games on 2 consoles at the same time? no thanks

Not sure how PS3 would work online, but they can release tuning patches for VF 5 on 360 through XBOX LIVE.

They have already done it for DOA4.
