It is highly likely I will travel there. I just need to sort the trip with a group of other Finnish players who are traveling to SVB to play games other than VF. It makes sense for us to stick together. I will get back to you.

I think it was me and Akairyu Medion who had a casual zone at Last Year's SVB. Didn't get as many people as we wanted to play on it, but it was there.

I'll most likely be a member of staff, like last year, so try and get as many people to come down to play VF5 and I'll make sure you guys have a setup.

Will there be more than one setup? If not, can we create our own setups if we bring stuff there? I've never been to SVB, so I dunno how much room there is for this kind of stuff?

I will be there to play. Don't think I'll be entering any of the tournaments but I'll still be switching between different games a fair bit.

Booking starts this weekend with the megabus down to London.

Will book my hotel next weekend and then all I have to do is get my venue entry to SvB sorted. Don't have a paypal account but I'm sure I'll sort something.

If you need another setup, let me know. I can bring down an xbox but I doubt a TV will be coming down with me.

European Championships it is, blood. I'll smash you.

Also, it's my girlfriend's 18th on the Saturday night so I need to know a good place to go out, one of you londoners can hook me up, surely?

Anywhere more than 5 players and only one setup would be terrible. I sure hope you guys can fix up something if that happens. Better to be safe than sorry.

What about recording the matches and/or streaming for those unable to make it?

Keep me up to date on this if you can. As I said, I start booking stuff this weekend. I'm gonna start with my travel and hotel and then get my SvB passes (the girlfriend will be with me most likely). So if there isn't gonna be a setup then let me know so I can save some cash!

Yeah I'd feel really bad for you if you came all the way from the Highlands and had no VF to play. It's happened to me before but at least I was only travelling within London. I've trained up in some backup games now though just in case.

I'll be there, and would like to take part in the tournament if that's cool.

Will be doing the SSF4AE tournament, but don't expect to get much past the group stage (if at all!) so will be around.

Hey Marly & peeps. Just got a call from Chief Gutti from Norway telling me about this. He's gonna try and make it and so will I. Am rusty as hell on VF, haven't played it in aages and I was gonna enter the SSF4 tournament but the genius people at the event have decided to make it during the day on Friday (WTF to anyone that works?)

When I went last year or the year before it was like 4 of us sitting around a tiny box TV playing VF, whilst a few hundred people crowded around Street Fighter 4. Sad times indeed! I really hope it will have more life this year, well done to anyone making the effort with VF!

My flight and accommodation is 100% confirmed now. I'll be landing in London on the 12th and leaving back for Norway on the Tuesday. Will be staying at a friend's house the whole weekend so no needs for hotels.

Unfortunately my chances of getting there took a considerable turn for the worse. Im supposed to get an application for visa to Belarus going (related to my work), which means that starting from about next tuesday my passport is stuck in the application for two weeks. Although there is a theoretical chance of me getting it back in time for SVB, Im not holding my hopes up. Also I dont think Im going to reserve the flight ticket in advance if there is a chance of me NOT getting the passport back in time. That would be couple hundred euros down the drain.

I was without a passport for like a month when I applied for Russian visa.. There is a high propability that this wont be done in time.
